Tech bros are really bad at coding. It's very likely they'll mess up the ancient COBOL code behind the US financial system and not know how to fix it for weeks. A super shutdown. We'll see government employees without paychecks, inaccessible social security accounts, etc. additionally, Elon and his high school team will likely accidentally leak the entire SSN database online, and all kinds of other important ledgers.

Sure they're a major economy and a fellow great power, but largest peacetime military does not make you militarily the strongest.
They didn't have a choice. Any other option would have ruined their own economy. Hell, even the limited trade war by Trump has deeply fucked over them.
America has been 100% in on fighting China ever since the coup in 1989 failed.
Why would China care? Firstly US gets like 95% of their semiconductors from Asia (including China). This isn't a field US has more advantages in, besides being carried by SK and Japan.
China's aviation problem is that NATO refuses to certify our planes for civilian use in their countries. If US goes scorched earth, we can just rip down their certifications as well, and no one in neither NATO (nor China, until they cert our planes) will travel anywhere.

America has not done it simply because the spending is too tight. They're on 4% spending already but it's simply not possible to out spend China's larger economy. If they put 10 000s missiles in Asia, China will counter disproportionately, as per usual.
They can't, China created a nuclear alt account (NK) whose near sole purpose is nuking them first if they ever tried to escape China permanently through nuclearization.
Just in NATO, not the world. Why would Putin care? The enemy has always been subject to being a laughing stock in the territories of the fighters. Look on YouTube how much skits and songs there are from Arabs about Israel for example.
You're not seeing the greater point of the war then. Not only are we ensuring there's no oligarchal influence left in Russia, it's also about positioning 10 000s of missiles aimed at the West's heartland. About preemptively killing 100 000s of westerners before they can begin to start threatening Asia.
In that sense, China has already preemptively and disproportionately countered a potential future US military buildup in Asia. The CPC can sometimes be slow because of bottom up legislation, but they also have generally far seeing geopolitical strategies. Ruining the EU and securing Russia is preemptive retaliation over the fact that US has ascended blatant white supremacists into their top ranks.
US is absolutely a threat still, but don't make a mistake to not see who is clearly in the driver's seat.
