There has been a major change of mood from the financial social media accounts that supported Trump. Many have turned against him. A lot of maga aren’t happy with all the back tracking. They are starting to see that their hero can’t keep a promise. This is why you see the rise of the bombing of 3 gorges dam meme popping up. They know China is winning the trade war and it infuriates them. So their only coping mechanism is fantasizing commuting mass genocide against the Chinese. They are in for a rude awakening if the US fights a war with Iran when they are struggling with the Houthis. The psychological blow could be enough to end this country.

My prediction is that Trump is going to do such a horrible job with the economy and if we go to war with Iran which will lead to an even worse debacle that by the end of his term he will be even more hated than Biden.

There's a reason why the Final Solution to the Jewish Question progressed and accelerated massively as the Nazis were losing the War.

I disagree. The opportunity for China to play the responsible part and draw closer to Europe, the ROK and perhaps even Japan militates against such a (admittedly satisfying) harsh measure.

China shouldn't rock the boat at least until:

1. It has a fully indigenous chip ecosystem, including EUV
2. It has reached at least its 2035 milestone for PLA modernization

IMO the main point of trade talks with Europe and Japan isn't that they'll actually align with China, it's not in the nature of their culture to do so and even if they do it'll only last until Trump leaves office.

The main point of trade talks with Europe and Japan is making them believe they have leverage when they deal with America, making them hard to digest and in the process harm both US and themselves. If they do align with China, bonus.
