Trump 2.0 official thread

I hate to even float such a grim and doomsday-like idea, but I’d rather see America, led by the most deranged administration of our time, stumble into the colossal mistake of sparking a full-on war with China. That way, China could finally flex its military grit, cleverness, and industrial muscle to crush America once and for all. The world would have no choice but to gawk at the humiliating truth: the America they once idolized is dead, and the values it used to preach have rotted away. Conservatism at its wildest and capitalism at its most ruthless need to be brought low and made to answer for their smug brutality. Sure, nothing’s set in stone, but sometimes you’ve got to roll the dice with guts, especially against a foe who’s already crowing about winning before the first punch lands. Right now, lunacy and idiocy are the fuel pumping through most Americans’ veins—and those are the very flaws that’ll bury them.
Daydreaming about World War III just so China can "flex its military grid" isn’t just deranged, it’s a masterclass in sociopathic fantasy. The casual sacrifice of millions of lives, on both sides, and global economic ruin, all for some pathetic anti-American ego trip? Some of you really need a private journal, or a therapist, instead of vomiting those delusions onto the internet.

I am not delusional you're the one living in some sort of cave impervious to what's happening in the world as we speak.

You act like China hasn't been subjected to all kinds of warfare these past many years - short of kinetic. And somehow I am delusional and angling for WWIII?

The comment I made wasn't written with bloodlust or even hoping nor wishing for one to happen. The post I wrote was in response to an IMPROBABLE but not IMPOSSIBLE scenario that the current U.S. regime under its current leadership might do the unthinkable i.e. PRECIPITATING A WAR with China out of desperation.

Before opining and making a comment, READ AND COMPREHEND rather than making a dumb personal attack. Perhaps, it's you that needs to see a specialist. Go see an optometrist because you can't read for shit.

"anti-American"

WTF

America as admirable is Thomas Massie, the last free man in Washington.

It's impossible to find anything more anti-American than Joe Caligula Biden and Donald Likud Trump.

When the despotic power of Washington, DC, declines... That day Americans will regain their freedom.

In my assessment, this is the true beginning of Cold War 2. Before they were skirmishes, limited to gradually broadening sectors, this is now full-spectrum non-kinetic warfare.

I don't think this qualifies as the start of Cold War 2.0

For that, we would need the American media to denounce China as evil and signal to the population that they must sacrifice in order to destroy their evil opponent.

Instead, we have the US declaring economic war against the the rest of the world.

I see the US as the ultimate loser.

There's literally zero indication for that. Zero. Quite the opposite. Every single sign points towards more isolationism than expansion. You don't prepare for war against one nation by tariffing the entire world. And what desperation? The wound is self-inflicted.

So, yes, your post very much does sound like someone champing at the bit to see some war as if it's a Marvel finale and not the death of countless humans. That isn’t political analysis, it’s the digital equivalent of licking batteries and calling it a clever insight.

About the same. Remember Trump has made many false claims, and all these build on top of each other.

Trump did ask citizens to "hang tough" and most importantly

I should have placed the subordinating word 'if' to ensure that pearl-clutching Westerners like you wouldn't be swinging your poor attempt at a soliloquy and moral grandstanding because I dared to post something that offends your garden sensibilities.

I heard somewhere that Trump's tactics are based on his experiences in the mafia-infested New York real estate business in the 1970s and 1980s. I think there's something in that, The Don behaves a lot like a don.

The best way for other countries to retaliate would be against US service exports. In particular, EU should implement some sort of digital services tax. Trump seems blissfully unaware of the existence of service exports and international capital flows.

If Trump have a solution already, he could have spoken to leaders and asked for negotiations, or at least informed US allies in advance.

The solution is apparently so bad that it's going to take global shock to get attention, and even imposing tariffs like this hasn't made much progress to it. It can't be simply debt restructuring or "century bonds" or bilateral agreement IMO.
