In what way does Trump has a soft spot for Russia? He extended the sanctions on Russia, he was the one that allowed heavy equipment exports to ukraine.

That stopping the war in Ukraine aligns with Trump's goal of pivot to Asia doesn't mean he does this for putin. Or pivoting to Asia so he can visit Xi for a cup of tea.

I've said this before, and I feel vindicated after the recent Oval Office showdown - Russiagate became a self-fulfilling prophecy where Trump genuinely developed sympathy for Russia/Putin. Trump's raw emotions with Zelensky was a revealing moment into his psyche:

Trump is bombastic incoherent idiot. But he represents the average America whether on the left or right. Majority of Americans don’t know history,are illiterate and don’t understand how the world works. This crypto executive order is only going to inflate the crypto bubble even more. When it pops it’s going to be catastrophic.
