PACIFIC OCEAN (July 11, 2011) The littoral combat ship USS Coronado (LCS 4) and the Military Sealift Command joint high speed vessel USNS Millinocket (JHSV 3) transit in formation off the coast of Southern California as part of a photo exercise for Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) Exercise 2014. Twenty-two nations, more than 40 ships and submarines, about 200 aircraft and 25,000 personnel are participating in RIMPAC from June 26 to Aug. 1, in and around the Hawaiian islands and southern California. VMT for the great photos/videos. They show the USN is still the No. 1 Navy in the World. Let's hope the politicians will be realistic when considering budget cuts. Same too for the UK. The problem is some of those in leadership roles have never served in the Armed Forces. With very little experience they are only enthralled with economic/political matters. They forget that with no Military protection there will be NO economic progress for the country.

US Coast Guard cutter, Hamilton, WMSL 753, the 4th National Security Cutter completes successful sea trials in the Gulf of Mexico.

The 5th, USCGC James (WMSL-754), was launched in May and will be christened in August. The 6th, USCGC Munro (WMSL-755), is building and will launch in 2015. The 7th, USCGC Kimball (WMSL-756), is under contract, and the eigth, USCGC Midgett (WMSL-757), is being funded.

These are exceptional Coast Guard cutters.

I am just curious; why would they transfer those ordnance by hooking them up? Why not a helo landing on the flight desk of this carrier, loading to its max payload then fly to another carrier, land on it and unload those ordnance?
