It seems in the UK, tabloids and news sites are one and the same.

Just like how China lost its incursion into Vietnam, Russia will lose this war. It may take months or even a few years for that to happen, given the propensity of Russia to throw its men into the fray, but it will happen.

So apparently, the howitzers that the US is sending may be missing some accessories. Article says it could be a “digital fire control system” or the NAV system according to the comments.

Figures. It seemed a bit too good to be true they would send the full blown M777A2.

The reason why most of the heavy equipment is former Soviet simple, it would take time to train Ukrainian forces to use it. T72’s donated from Poland are a virtual plug and play solution. The Best Western equipment would take time to adapt to. It’s best to just keep that in service to Units whom already have the know how. Hence removing Digital fire control systems and the like. The crews using it have what at max 2 months of training best case? More likely a few weeks.
Besides the aim on this isn’t to conquer Russia despite how Vlad paints it. The objective is return to Ukrainian boarders pre incursion.

I doubt Russia will leave Kherson Oblast, or Zaporizhzhia Oblast areas under their control.

Excepting Crimea. Which was grounds for negotiation. Of course the longer this grounds out the less likely Russia is to hold on to what it has.

No, the longer it holds the worse the terms Ukraine will get will be. As Russia keeps expending blood and treasure the price Ukraine will be made to pay will be higher. For example Ukraine can no longer join the EU as of like yesterday or the day before that.

Like I said, if Russia did lose a lot of men, you can bet a vastly expanded bombardment campaign would start sooner or later.

I think that's enough speculation. There's a reason NATO isn't giving the UAF F-16s.
