Because unlike what Oryx and the few guys here who simp his belligcat fed agent rear think, it is not a life or death issue for Russia.

Russia has several layers of escalation left while Ukraine has gone about as far as they can without directly causing WW3.

How about we judge by actions not by words, especially in war time.
Talks is for show, but what will happen is still to be observed.

Almost all established high-tech manufacturers with the exception of the USA missed the entire drone thing. You don't see Japan, Germany, Russia or the UK when it comes to drone sales. It is always the USA, China, Israel, Turkiye and Iran. This is one of the weirdest things related to the defense industry that happened in the last 20 years.

Strangely I saw a claim on Sputnik's Chinese website that Morozov said the State Duma was ready to hold a temporary meeting on the possible admission of new territories to the Russian Federation. But haven't found it on Russian sources yet.

IIRC the US is only good at making extremely overpriced drones costing 7-8 figures each. They don't have any quality or volume in the low to mid end (3 to 6 figures) the way China has.

I think the Predator and RQ-4 family are pretty good drones and have probably paid for themselves multiple times over.

ASB is talking about a coming announcement by Putin in 1 hour. Won't be holding my breath since this type of hype always ends in nothing or something very lame.

So yesterday, the LPR and DPR announced plans to start a referendum and recently now Kherson and Zaporozhye is now announcing. Obviously, all these regions making it public at the same time means Moscow is planning to make a major move. Now the question is what will they do?

About 1-2 days ago, Erdogan said that Russia is seeking to end the conflict “as soon as possible.” Then within the last 12 hours, ASB said that the Russian state Duma had approved amendments with immediate effects into the criminal law such as the type of punishment for desertion, voluntary surrender, looting, martial law, mobilization, and wartime law.

oh don't get me wrong, no doubt they're much more cost effective than tomahawks and other traditional tools. just trying to emphasize that china has a cost advantage that is 1 to 4 orders of magnitude for the exact same end result.
