The War in the Ukraine

Counting Kiev as a "liberation" quite disingenuous considering the context surrounding it all and the Ukranians acting in bad faith and didn't much if at all over there.

But gotta fight for those reddit upvotes.

Yeah, everything is going fine. It was all a feint or something.

Russians actually wanted to give T-90M as a present, etc.

Looks like it isn’t a one off event. Critical infrastructures is being targeted.

Huge explosion near the nuclear power plant in southern Ukraine about 300m away from the nuclear reactors. One of the units has been turned off at the Aleksandrovskaya NPP.

Something in Zaporozhye blew up (transformer I assume) which resulted in a part of the city to go dark.

It's been clear in past few days that targeting civilians is only option Putin has left as the gas weapon against Europe has been used and it didn't work and his second rate military is failing on battelfield against Ukrainians... who'll soon enjoy lend-lease deliveries.

What can loony dictator do? Russia is now in same situation where Iraq was in early 1990's.

Be careful with your language. Saying stuff like "loony dictator" breaches this threads' rules if my understanding of them is correct.

NYT article on Shahed-136. Ukrainians acknowledge 4 killed, 16 wounded. Equipment losses range from Howitzers (including the M777) and armored vehicles, from half dozen strikes. Twitter source link below.

I find it strange how Russia achieved more with its Iranian drones in a single week than Ukriane did with the switchblade weeks for half a year.

Lack of training or is the drone itself so bad?

Finally.....Russia attacks a Ukrainian controlled nuclear power plant.
Note they didn't actually hit it, it was 1,000ft away. But the message should be clear. If you shell our nuclear power plants, we'll do the same to yours - and we won't need a second strike.

Now if they only used the same logic with Ukrainian constant shelling of civilian areas.

That must be why Ukraine keeps shelling downtown Donetsk, then. Earlier this morning there were several picture of people cut in half by an artillery strike on a restaurant.

the gas weapon against Europe has been used and it didn't work
Europe's economic indexes are showing it is actually working quite just fine and it might get worse as winter rolls in and the gas you need to power your industries, will be needed to heat the houses, unless you want people to freeze to death like in Texas

who'll soon enjoy lend-lease deliveries.
By when, 2035?.

I mean, you type as if Europe isn't struggling to keep delivering stuff to Ukraine without completely leaving themselves open.

Russia is now in same situation where Iraq was in early 1990's.
If that were the case, the US and the rest of the questionable countries that make up NATO would have jumped right in themselves instead of letting the Ukranians duke it out for you.

Well, he is not targeting civilian infrastructure just because, the dam was targeted to slow down Ukrainian forces and flood their trenches. The power stations where targeted to disrupt Ukrainian operations. Of course this attacks have a toll on civilian lives, but that is the dark nature of war.

I think it is too unreliable and difficult to be used compared to dropping a grenade sized bomb from a hobby drone.

They are also easier to smuggle and sell in the black market. And that money would probably be more useful for getting proper infantry kits for the soldiers who sold it than the drone itself.
