Indeed, it looks like it was a deliberate plan which lead "Russian troops to eliminate the concentration of Ukrainian forces in the area".I think Russia deliberately allowed Ukraine to move in so swiftly and reclaim a lot of land. It seems like there wasn’t much of a huge resistance from Russian defenders. Russia is also hesitant to blow up bridges to stop Ukrainian reinforcement.
How it ended? That was around the time that Russian troops were retreating to the borders after failed Kyiv offensive? Well, I think we all know how it turned out.Last time the Ukrainians reached the Russian border near Kharkov, and we know how well that turned out. I don't see why this will end any better.
Another invaders flag falling...
It is not easy for the invaders to lose territory, lose equipment and lose men... While the Russian president and his high command are pretending what they are not in massive military exercises, spending resources that are needed by the troops and volunteers who have been sent to Ukraine... Morale Blow
Wouldn't be surprised by further "goodwill" withdrawals soon
So what needs to happen for Putin to take the gloves off and declare a general mobilization? A total collapse of the Kharkov front? This post sums the war in a nut shell. For Ukrainians, this is war. For Russians, it is not. Russians are too spoiled to fight. Unless Ukrainians invade Russian soil, they will not forgo the good life of peace. To date Russians have not introduced a single new military hardware for war. No T-14. No new howitzer. No new IFV. No new helicopter. No new nothing. Production of military hardware is snail paced. This is not a nation at war. This is a nation at peace.
