The War in the Ukraine

I don't believe this. This is just too stupid to be real. Not only are there permanent IAEA members on site to monitor the NPP and will see Ukraine attacking the site, but it's literally just a suicide mission at this point.
I can't say I disagree in any way, i was just sharing what I read but apparently it's ongoing

If it's actually happening then I don't know what to think anymore. It's pure insanity

Let's see tomorrow what materializes.

By some accounts, 7000 to 8000 Ukrainians are either killed or wounded as a result of the offensive. I don't know how many is in the cauldron, but at least a few thousand. So 10000+ men and their equipment wiped out as a result of the offensive.

Talk about a train wreck.

I think the estimates (not MOD) were 2000 dead and 4000-6000 wounded has been what people are saying.

We have seen plenty of videos of Ukrainian troops and their vehicles bunched up and walking in open plains before getting shelled into obliterated.

I do wonder how many casualties the Russians took from this offensive. Drones + artillery is devastating to the Ukrainians on open field. Not sure how deep the Russians were fighting or were they more dependent on indirect fire.

Yes, what you read and what I read are quite similar. It was said that about 10000 went into the cauldron. What we don't know is how many of these 10000 are already counted as dead and wounded for the last few days.

Possibly a developing situation at ZNPP. Apparently Ukrainians are assaulting in 15 boats once again. I only saw this on telegram just now. No idea if it's actually happening. It's night there right now? Hunting time for Ka52 and Mi28

Ukrainian troops opened fire on Enerhodar, near which the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant is located, 5 explosions were heard, local authorities said.
Authorities later said that about 20 more explosions were heard.

If the Ukrainian leadership was not able to see that this was an obvious trap then Ukraine is doomed.

Russians attacking the penile salient in all directions as they cut off the bridges. That was obviously a trap. NATO doctrine is to strike deep and narrow, and the Russians took advantage of that with reserves deep behind the front line.

Does anyone have footage of Russians using Iranians drones? Or was that a rumor?
I do not think so. But on Wednesday there were rumors that drones are already operating in Ukraine and that the results are quite satisfactory with the Russian military's praise of Iranian drones. On the western side, as published on well-known and relevant websites and media, they claim that the Russians were disappointed with the performance of Iranian drones.

It is worth remembering that from the point of view of operational art, the forces and means of the enemy must be stretched to the left bank and destroyed there. So as not to pursue later, and go on the offensive on the shoulders of the retreating enemy. Surprisingly, Zaluzhny understands this very well. But nothing can be done. Now everyone is hostage to circumstances.

Several photos of Russian vehicles stopped waiting for their turn to cross.

I wonder why they don't use Mi-26 helicopters to ferry things across the river. These helicopters are huge and there's only a few hundred meters distance to fly back and forth.
