Missiles typically have some 93% of reliability according to E.Fleeman's Tactical Missile Design book. and US sent some 5000. 350 among those is expected to be dud. Which might be the one delivered to the poor guy's unit.

But of course age of the stock might impact reliability. Thus there is concept of "guaranteed life" where the missile is expected to be fully functional in that timeline. e.g 10 years before needing overhaul or life extension. Beyond that, reliability decreases. The missile may still be usable but well its probability of failure increase.
We have no clue what was the condition where this relability condition meet.

Like optimal engagement range, temperature within -5/+30 celsius, trained personel, regular maintanence done , living chicken sacrified prior of launch on the seeker and so on.

Well the TG message from that Wagner affiliated TG channel also mention destruction of Ukrainian aviation assets so, they're not coming up clean either.
are these same channels asking for 600k to 800k troops to manage Ukraine. unless proven otherwise i will always go with official statements. Ukraine official statement credibility has gone down otherwise i would have gone with it and than you add TB-2 to the mix.

Ukraine's 79th Air Assault Brigade HQ is at Nikolayev. These are the guys who got their HQ hit with a Kalibr in the initial days of the war.
So I would assume they are fighting the Russian troops at Kherson oblast.
This is supposed to be one of their elite units.

With regards to the effectiveness of the Javelin the fact its IR sensor needs cryogenic gas as a consumable makes it not very practical to use in rough field conditions. The Russians decided to skip that kind of sensor entirely and are working on next generation IR which does not require coolant gas. I also heard several people complain that the Javelin is not a practical weapon in terms of being able to be easily carried by infantry.

Day 74. We're still discussing Azovstal, Izyum, Snake Island, Kharkov and Popasna.

Posters claiming claiming the side they don't support is tossing out faked imagery and

I see lots of progress both here and in the warzone. /snark.

Two of the most stubborn cultures I know of personally have gone to war. This isn't going to end any time soon. This war has legs and is going to keep running for a while.

Seriously, wait and see, folks.
