The War in the Ukraine

This Pro Russian account in Spanish, explains one of the reasons why the Russian defenses are inefficient against HIMARS attacks, which are not only devastating, but also have a lot of precision... Actually, in recent weeks more positions have been destroyed and Russian warehouses, than in previous months.

Could you cease regurgitating the NATO sponsored deep throating of the M142 systems please?

Like sure according to twitter glowies, SRBM is now the most difficult thing to intercept, after the whole US military spent ages claiming SCUDs are useless because "they have predictable trajectories".

No, putting a SRBM on a mlrs is not revolutionary, the Russians can put Iskander on theirs, and Ukraine has afaik (I welcome reports to the contrary) failed to intercept even a single Iskander.

The Smerch was designed by the old USSR and has mildly better range using guided rockets vs HIMARS. A recently designed Eastern bloc MLRS like PHL16 completely shits on it, because it can slot IRBMs and not just scud ripoff on top of having better range and accuracy in general.

A strike volume of 10 random storehouses next to the front being blown up in a month isn't a significant military achievement, if so, Russia would have won the war in 1 week with their cunning Iskander attacks on Ukraine storage depots which Ukraine is completely helpless against.

He's wrong. First, he confused the ATACMS with the M30/M31 that were sent. The ATACMS is an aeroballistic rocket capable of performing maneuvers during the flight, but not during the entire flight, in the terminal phase it does not perform maneuvers. This is useless as ATACMS has not yet been sent to Ukraine.

The M31/M30 that were sent can perform flight corrections to hit the target, but that is not maneuvering, it would be more trajectory corrections through updates of the target position.

So he is wrong about being the only possibility to intercept HIMARS when it is in the booster phase, which is clearly not true. TOR and Pantsir can efficiently deal with HIMARS, the problem is in the low range for the huge area of the Donbas to protect, you can't layer all these systems in every ammo depot, in every vehicle storage depot, in every fuel depot at each supply depot.

This gepard. well If pantsyr is bad.. how this could be better ?

It's kinda way too archaic to fight in nowadays battlefield tbh. It may however still down Su-25, Krokodil (hind) or Ka-52's in case the latter not realized but it can be easily outranged with even Ataka.
Actual museum pieces, through the role they fulfill is not bad.

But according to your regime propaganda - I mean, esteemed independent think tank scholarship, ballistic missiles and rockets are ineffective dictatorship weapons.

they are useless, no different than a very expensive artillery shell and only used for terror attacks.

As a vehicle of terror, the ballistic missile is quite effective. But its battlefield impact in practice is little more than that of a heavy artillery shell — and an extraordinarily expensive one at that.

After the first strike, they are wasting assets capable of little more than harassing raids on ever smaller scales.

Looks like the US has neutered FIRMS, the NASA global fire monitoring tool. For the past two days it only seems to show fires in Russian occupied territory in the Ukraine.

I guess it got embarrassing for them to claim the Ukraine is winning when there was hard evidence of mass fires on Ukrainian positions. The past few days had some of the heaviest concentrations of fire for some time.

More censorship from the side that claims its for freedom.

Actually the vast amount of fires on Russian occupied territory in Ukraine shows effective use of Ukrainian incendiaries with suppressed firing signals.

Yet another example of very westernized NATO style Ukrainian military easily defeating ineffective WW2 dictatorship Russians.

Gepard would be pretty good if used in the same sort of role as BMPT, in fact you can think of BMPT as like a SPAAG minus the fancy radar plus ATGMs.

Of course AFU isn't exactly assaulting cities so...
