Tank battle of a Russian tank with the T-64 of Ukraine. As reported, the Ukrainian tank T-64BV decided to support the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who took up defense in the hangars with fire. Having advanced to the battlefield, he fired several shots at the Russian tank and, having missed, decided to retreat. By return fire from a Russian tank, the T-64 of Ukraine was hit,
two crew members left the burning tank, which is unknown with the third.

That crew fired two shots at like 200m range and missed both?!

The Russian ZRPC "Pantsir-S1" shot down a Ukrainian UAV "Bayraktar" at a distance of 18 km. The UAV "Bayraktar" of the AFU carried 4 missiles that did not detonate and did not explode. The missiles were seized for examination.

A massive strike by the Russian heavy multiple launch rocket system "Smerch" on the deployment area of the S-300 air defense system of Ukraine, led to an accurate hit in one of the installations of the S-300 air defense system and a powerful explosion of its missiles.

There was a video of the work of PMCs Wagner in Ukraine. Soldiers of the private Russian military company Wagner, using the MT-12 Rapier anti-tank gun and the AGS-17 Flame 30 mm automatic grenade launcher, methodically destroy the fortified positions of the Ukrainian army.

A very detailed analysis of the current Russian offensive in the Donbass by the Austrian Army's academy. There is an English transcript in the description section. One of the key takeaways is that Russia is going for a short, instead of a deep encirclement of Ukrainian forces. They've committed 93 battalions against 81 Ukrainian battalion, who are heavily entrenched with 3 lines of defence in depth. They show a detailed view of some of the fortifications. Against such a determined defence, the US rule of thumb is to commit a 5:1 numerical overmatch. Clearly, Russia falls vastly short of that.

They are hoping that with massive use of artillery they will be able to attrit the Ukrainians and create breakthroughs. At the same time, they are interdicting Ukrainian supply lines further West in a bid to prevent Western weapons like long range howitzers and Gepard mobile AAA from bolstering the Ukrainian defence.

People like the author are insiders or informed by incumbent administration. That is part of how US federal gov operates. Actually all major media outlets have inside informers, which serve both ways. Under the current circumstances, no fed official would say anything in public that is not aligned with the party line. And media outlets like NYT would not publish anything of that kind if it was not somewhat winked from that white colored house.

Reading between lines and comparing his war articles since the beginning, the tone is definitely opposite to all his previous articles. This is a skill, bro!
Crikey you fellas must subscribe to a lot of publications. Just about every link I click on is behind a paywall.

The amount of incompetence, disorganization, and raw amateurism demonstrated by the Russian Armed Forces is beyond staggering. Fuck this, they don't deserve to win a war at this point. Russia might have more men and materiel, but at the rate they are losing their men and equipment, this conflict will become another Vietnam-esque meat grinder for them at best.

I'm surprised that Putin's own brass hasn't pulled a Wilhelmshaven on him yet, because that probably would be the most sensible course of action to save Russia's image and strength - or whatever is left of them.
