There has been a line of argument that Americans are more experienced vis a vis Chinese and Ive maintained that their experience has been versus a low tech poorly trained foes, its been akin to them playing video games on ez mode.

Id say in modern ground warfare, Russians And Ukrainians today have no peer.

Both China and US would be doing as much as possible to extract knowledge from their respective allies and Od say China hasnt really missed out on experience. US experience in Iraq and Afghanistan is irrelevant because they are not near peers but today, its also completely outdated.
The funny thing is that many of the Western volunteers who are still in Ukraine say the same thing. Some former military veterans with experience in combat broke while some civilians with little to no firearm experience of all things didn't. Previous wartime experience during GWOT can help to a certain degree, but it isn't a decisive factor. Eagerness to learn, train and adapt is.

Said to be Geran storage facilities in the Oryol region, caught in satellite image. Ukraine claims to have attacked the facility with Storm Shadow missiles. Residents of Ukraine have published footage of Russian cruise missiles Kh-101 hitting the Pridneprovskaya TPP in the city of Dnepropetrovsk. The video was filmed by several eyewitnesses from different angles on December 25. At the time of the missile attack, Ukrainian air defense was working, but the shot down missiles are not visible on the video. A total of 12 missile strikes were recorded in Dnepropetrovsk. The range of the Russian Kh-101 missile is up to 5,500 km, the warhead is 400 kg.

It is possible that the Ukrainian Gepard air defense system, made in Germany, is firing at Russian missiles.

Footage of an aerial duel in Ukraine, Russian and Ukrainian interceptor drones. Both drones are equipped with drone interception nets, their chances in combat are equal, but the Russian operator turned out to be more experienced. The Russian drone is armed with a Taiga net launcher, their use was previously shown. The model of the net used by the Ukrainian drone is unknown.

Apparently when the US and British gave permission to Ukraine to strike in Russia with their missiles, Ukraine only had a few tens of missiles left at that point with no ability to get more
I've read that the US gave something like 500 ATAMCS missiles, which is ~25% of their total stockpile. Most of those missiles are either spent or blown up by the Russians in some ammo depot by now.

Zelensky, who resisted on the issue of lowering conscription age, now show signs of relenting. A bill is being introduced in the Ukrainian parliament to make it happen. Not yet voted upon. It's hard to know how many 18-25 year olds left Ukraine by bribing or going illegally, but it seems to be a substantial number. Not sure if lowering the conscription age will make much of a difference.

I suspect we will see the negotiations finally get serious under 2025. Ukraine is now on its last legs, but it remains to be seen if Russia will accept any offer. Putin may conclude that its better to just cripple them permanently instead. Then again, war-weariness is rising in Russia too. Most polls I've seen suggest that Russians would prefer negotiations over continued war.

Ukraine has 1 year of conscription between the ages 18 and 27. Just like Russia.
It's the age of mobilization that's being discussed.
