There has been a line of argument that Americans are more experienced vis a vis Chinese and Ive maintained that their experience has been versus a low tech poorly trained foes, its been akin to them playing video games on ez mode.

Id say in modern ground warfare, Russians And Ukrainians today have no peer.

Both China and US would be doing as much as possible to extract knowledge from their respective allies and Od say China hasnt really missed out on experience. US experience in Iraq and Afghanistan is irrelevant because they are not near peers but today, its also completely outdated.
The funny thing is that many of the Western volunteers who are still in Ukraine say the same thing. Some former military veterans with experience in combat broke while some civilians with little to no firearm experience of all things didn't. Previous wartime experience during GWOT can help to a certain degree, but it isn't a decisive factor. Eagerness to learn, train and adapt is.

Said to be Geran storage facilities in the Oryol region, caught in satellite image. Ukraine claims to have attacked the facility with Storm Shadow missiles. But it's likely the facilities are underground, which would have made the attack in vain, even if the missiles were not shot down which they likely were.

Residents of Ukraine have published footage of Russian cruise missiles Kh-101 hitting the Pridneprovskaya TPP in the city of Dnepropetrovsk. The video was filmed by several eyewitnesses from different angles on December 25. At the time of the missile attack, Ukrainian air defense was working, but the shot down missiles are not visible on the video. A total of 12 missile strikes were recorded in Dnepropetrovsk. The range of the Russian Kh-101 missile is up to 5,500 km, the warhead is 400 kg.

It is possible that the Ukrainian Gepard air defense system, made in Germany, is firing at Russian missiles.
