The War in the Ukraine

It will just be considered by Russia as yet another move by NATO to push its borders eastwards. Russia has escalation dominance and no reason to accept this kind of "deal".

Their whole plan seems to be kicking the can down the road. With hopes they can trick Russia into letting them have a favourable advantage next time.

The president-elect’s plan, outlined by three Trump staffers, would see the current front line frozen in place and Ukraine agreeing to shelve its ambition to join Nato for 20 years.

In exchange, the US would pump Ukraine full of weapons to deter Russia from restarting the war.

The proposals is going to be about as successful as Elensky ultimatum summit. I don’t know why people seem to think that Trump proposing Biden offers as his own is all of a sudden going to make a difference. Russia is not going to make any concessions on what they view as an existential red line.

Just look at this proposal for example. An European patrolled demilitarized zone that inside Russia. Absolutely zero chance.

This plan doesn't fit Trump's character.

I'll try to suggest a plan in line with Trump's character.

In a complex business negotiation, you need to be at least on equal footing, or prevail over the other side. And have trump cards up each sleeve.

The non-Trump signed Lend-Lease, for example, can be initiated in supplies, and on the front create localized but radical superiority in some areas. The supplies are serious. Three hundred airplanes, thousands of tanks and bmp, cruise missiles in abundance. The capture of the Kursk Republic. Strikes deep into Russian territory. No-fly zone over the fronts. At the same time on economic fronts, some actions aimed at strangling the Russian Federation. And shut down the Baltic immediately.

Half a year. And then - negotiations. We give you yours, you give us ours, and Ukraine completely goes to the West. At the same time, pressure on the friends of Russia, so that they all do push-ups while Puilo eats dates.

The negotiating position is carrot and stick. Puilo doesn't want to pay reparations - well, don't pay (aiming for "later"). And if you don't want to negotiate like this, your tankers will be drowned by Ukrainian submarines on all oceans, independent republics from the former Russian Federation will be recognized, as well as their governments in exile. And a complete embargo on all movement across the borders of the Russian Federation.

The only no fly zone going on is the one Russia enforces over Ukraine lmao

"Ukrainian submarines" what kinda crack are you smoking? Interrupting Russia's trade means going to war with any country that benefits from that trade.

Not what you should look to do when you can't even hold the front line.

The massacre of Ukrainians at the front will simply just continue exactly as before... I don't know what is wrong with NATO, but for some reason they fear to go in with more support. Maybe they see the writing on the wall and find it meaningless. Maybe they really can't spare it. But either way Russia will keep getting the tools to keep dominating the front.

When the bodies run out, the war is over. It's what Israel dreamed they could do in Palestine, yet Russia is getting a free pass for it with 0 pushback. Ukraine government is helping more than hurting Russia by conscripting any non-vatniks and sending them to killing fields. Hence why Russia doesn't even bother to strike most Ukraine politicians.

It's unclear what you're implying, that NATO should supply troops to defend Ukraine?
If they think it will end up with a decent chance of them winning, yes.

Just like they went into Libya and Serbia with no hesitation. And we (China) went to defend Vietnam.

Ukraine is not a NATO member, and Russia has not attacked any NATO members. There is no legal basis in the articles of the North Atlantic Treaty to send combat troops to Ukraine, in its defense against Russia. Rhetoric like this is dangerous and poses a threat to the existence of mankind. It should be shunned by all rational people.

Such insane cope. I think it would be pretty easy for the Russians to say "bring it on!"

Like said, if it was that easy, why haven't NATO done to yet? Stop being chicken hawks and just do it.

The answer is simple.
They don't.

Which one of Trump's plans aiming at China or Russia actually worked as planned last time when he was in office? If none, why bother to suggest? Trump and his suppoters were and will remain nothing but big mouths.

What Trump is good at is "I will do this and that". That is not a plan but only a wish. Something can only be called a plan if it has a high chance of realizing its objectives besides "will do".

Russia's policy of changing the borders of Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova is dangerous for Europe. Europe, especially Germany with Komsomol Merkel has fed Putin and sat on the gas and oil needle and has become dependent on Russia.

If Merkel had not blocked Ukraine's entry into NATO, Ukraine would already be in NATO and there would be no occupation of Crimea and Donbass. Ukraine took the course to join NATO only after the occupation of Crimea, before that it had a neutral status. Ukraine has been betrayed by everyone. Western countries are circumventing his own sanctions against Russia. But Ukraine was betrayed first of all by the oligarchs of Ukraine who did not share the market with Russian oligarchs. Ukraine could not become a neutral Switzerland, but became a measured coin for the USA, China and Russia. Europe was just a soft underbelly for the US and Russia . Schroeder, Merkel and Scholz ruined the country and the Bundeswehr. NATO became useful troops. Germany is going broke and businesses are fleeing the country, the economy and structures are cracking at all seams. And at this time, Putin is giving Europe a choice. China is watching.

The entire thing is a rant out of frustration and anger. Fantastical ideas of a no fly zone, global Ukrainian submarines hunters, conquering Kursk, threatening India and China to bow down, dismantle Russia into several separate entities, total blockade of all movement across the entirety of Russia. Then scapegoating Germany and everyone for their failure on Ukraine etc.
