This appears to be the first recorded F-16 overflight in Ukraine. Rumors suggest that it was already involved in its first combat mission acting for the country's air defense.

Did they upgrade the Ukrainian F-16's to the latest standards or are they actually just early A/B block models? Seems like a missed opportunity if not, considering the latest blocks are in production and conversion kits exist for older models.

The Romanian Ministry of Defense has prepared a report on the results of training Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighters:
- out of 50 cadets, only 3 are ready for independent flights
- careless attitude towards studies and reluctance to learn English
- decline in athletic performance due to weight gain and alcohol consumption
- training was considered 'successful'

They were MLU they carry aim-120c5 but that is not the important part the important is the list of US and other nations air to ground it will be able to deploy. I don't see any air to air taking place. Thousands of tanks have been destroyed on both sides and we can likely use two hands to count how many tank on tank battles have taken place.

Probably not any air to air if the constant R37M snipes we've seen are any indication.

But flying low all the time isn't that smart either, weapons range will be severely limited, and the aircraft will get hunted on the ground instead.

Given that they have been donated by Denmark, Norway and the Netherlands, they would all be mid-life updated block 15/20 aircraft. That makes them equivalent to the F-16C/D block 50/52.

M198 155mm howitzer taken out by Lancet from the 238th.

Leopard 2 in action, but knocked out by drone action. Drone bombing damaged the tank and the crew abandoned it. Accurate bomb drop into the hatch ignited the ammo but automated fire suppressant systems did their work. The tank might be retrievable but irreparable.

That is pretty much the record of the Iraqis and Egyptians being trained by French and Soviets. We all know of their... prowess. They had the distinction of ruining the Mig's reputation after legendary achievements in Korea and Vietnam.
