The War in the Ukraine

It diminish confidence of your troops a lot... don't know if they will send back to the front or putting them in reserve. If they mix them with other units they can influence them to do the same if the situation worsen. It's quite hard to deal with and even more with logistic routes risky to make rotation.

Probably manual labor or logistics work on the Western side. Just have them dig 100 miles worth of trenches.

The fiery inquisitor of Russia TOS-1A "Solntsepyok" is already in Ukraine. The Russian Ministry of Defense showed the work of TOS-1A "Solntsepyok" in Ukraine. The TOS-1A heavy flamethrower system is rightfully considered one of the deadliest weapons of the Russian army. The weapon is truly terrible as 24 rockets with a caliber of 220 mm. literally burn everything around. The thermobaric mixture of projectiles creates a cloud of explosive mixture and then undermines it. After detonation, the pressure rises sharply and then drops, the pressure drop leads to a guaranteed death of the enemy over an area of up to 40,000 square meters.
I find claims of the weapon's destructive nature highly exaggerated. 40,000 sq.m is almost 10 acres, and if it were really pounding Ukrainian positions, there'd be no war to talk about.

Russia moved some assets from Caspian sea to sea of Azov, through Volga Don canal :
"Shmel" class gunboat patrolling waters off Mariupol What's interesting is that these are part of the Caspian Flotilla. They must've brought it to the Azov sea via inland rivers .

Lieutenant General
ru sof ambush ua patrol; drone monitors the operation while underway
drones are a must have tools these days, at team level as well
EDIT: should I remove it? there are dead soldiers in it

Am I the only one who thinks we just saw a literal black operation to nab a VIP?

The ambush itself was oddly contradictory, where on the one hand it looks like an amateurish mistake to spring the trap just as the trio were about to walk into a nice clear open area where all of them could have been dropped almost instantly with zero risks to the Russians.

However, that does not at all fit with the raw professional skill and expertise on show when fire was exchanged. The Russians advanced swiftly, decisively and bravely while the 3rd Ukrainian guy was spraying fire at them. They also were very deliberate in wounding him and pinning him with fire as a guy advanced to take him prisoner when a grenade would be been much faster and safer for the Russians.

They also whipped out the body bag unusually swiftly.
