Given how much the people in the vídeos seem to celebrate, it will be amusing if indeed turns out to be Ukrainian.

So far, the vídeos of the wreckage are inconclusive, other than it was a Flanker.

Just have a moment. The T-62s have been spotted and geolocated as in the Kherson oblast and appear to be headed east.


Ukrainians had been claiming they were headed west. Not sure where they'll end up and what they'll be used for at this point.

At least Leo 2A4 have thermals, but if it's indeed send to Ukraine, the thermals might have been removed just like the case of Polish T-72M1R

If it was Ukrainian MiG-29 than its corresponded to the last Russian MoD report about the downed MiG-29 few hours ago, but it was downed on Slavyanks, DPR region

They are most likely going to be used by the DPR for fire support. This would allow Russian tankers to have a good and steady supply of high quality tanks that could be used in dangerous maneuvers that would require the skills of professional/well-trained military personal.

T-62 have greater Gun Elevation Range:

• T-62: - 6 to + 16 degrees
• T-72/80: - 5 to + 14 degrees

Good for urban combat.
