The War in the Ukraine

Russians have tried and failed at overwhelming PAC battery in Kyiv.
This is a silly claim.
As mentioned before, Houthis have hit Saudi facilities and KSA has hundreds of Patriots

There is the well-known story that they used a multi-million dollar Patriot against a $1000 DJI-level drone

Reality is that Kyiv has multi-layered, and dense air defense system, probably the heaviest in the world now. IRIS-T, Patriot, NASAMS, and probably still have S-300, Buk, Tor and Osa

Ukrainian media is removing all the references that they shot down the plane and now claim it crashed.

Patriot is a beast

How come no one is talking about the possibility of the USAF sending F22 to shoot it down?

For patriots to shoot down the AWAC, there are so many factors that need to be correct, and the probability of everything lining up is very low.

For Russians to shoot it down themselves, there are so many factors that need to be wrong, and the probability of everything lining up is so low.
Because Ukraine's M.O is to sneak in a PAC-2 launcher near the front and shoot down Russian aircraft. US is not going to risk WW3 over an AWACS and air control aircraft. Seems like the PAC-2 GEM-T range of 160km is very much greater.

I wonder what this does to the morale of the Ukrainian troops. Must be fairly demoralising, to know that you are going home, only to be shot down by your own people.
Replay that Bradley clip might do some wonder. At least it does on the internet.

But seriously, I doubt they care much because to reach that point, they need to survive and become POW first. Them Ukranian POW on the other hand though, probably not so eager to return for a while.

Belgorod is only 40km away from the Ukrainian border and the plane is flying from Mariupol.
I'm talking about the May 13th shootdown of SU-34 and SU-35 and three Mi-8's in Bryansk region. Ukraine sneaked in a PAC-2 launcher near the border. Ukraine also sneaked in a PAC-2 launcher near the frontlines able to shoot down Russian awacs and damage air control aircraft over Sea of Azov.

I was replying to somebody who said (paraphrasing) how do we know it wasn't an F-22 that shot down the awacs.

No evidence of crashes. Ukraine is easy to provide detailed satellite evidence of the Storm Shadow hits on the landing ship and the Rostov on Don submarine, both of whom were not big. Or even the Storm Shadow attacks on the Russian bases eliminating some helicopters. Yet unable to provide evidence of the crashes of these alleged Sukhois. Also of the ones in Kherson. Note how quickly people are able to present evidence of the IL-76 crash because it actually happened.

The Sea of Azov is only 14 meters at it's deepest. Won't miss a crashed A-50 there by SAR or by optical or thermal satellite. So far up to now, you have not presented any evidence.
