no ifs here. Spring is over in 1 month on June 21.

Do you really think the Ukrainian Army will start its awaited "spring-offensive" on a special date until latest spring-day only to please some internet-warriors? They will start when ready and as it seems, it was more humid than expected so they need to wait a bit longer and until the new equipment is ready ... as such, call it an early-summer offensive, but the fact that it hasn't started yet should not be over-interpret; it will come, but the time depends not on a certain season, a few days or what anyone like us expects.

You make it sound as if the Ukranians do have a say in this and there aren't any other actors pressuring them.

But surely not you or me or anyone else and again - in case you again rate my post a political comment, while yours again is pure fact! - the Russian's could end this mess instantly and are surely the single actor pressing anyone to anything the most!

Analysis of the effects of Russian thermobaric weapons in Ukraine, with a documented case of a soldier suffering burns over 80% of their body despite being 60m away from the blast

It is known that the Russians are working on adapting the "Orthodox JDAM" to the ODAB, so far we know that they have the kit for the FAB-500M62 HE type and for the 250kg version.
Although the name is similar, the ODAB-500 works in a very different way:
1-It is thermobaric
2- It needs a parachute in the final phase to spread the fuel to be burned.

When the Russians implement the device there will be an increase in the number of daily AFU kills, I imagine they will use it over trenches, a single ODAB-500 carries 200kg of payload, it will annihilate the people in the trench where it is dropped or the rural house used as a bunker....

I don't think I have ever labeled your comments as political. Also, how the previous quote in my post about heavy metals poisoning the ground affecting the trees in Bakhtmut is provocative?

Don't know if they could adapt these thermobaric warhead on S-24 or S-25 rockets from SU-25. Tossing S-13 or S-8 on an area could be replaced with one of these with thermobaric warhead...Launching a wide area thermobaric munition would be way more devastating.

I found these low level Su-25 jet tossing a couple of small rocket and turning away a bit underwhelming. Not sure, if it's just a waste of ressources or real help.

If the intended effect was to draw attention away from Bakhmut, it has succeeded at least in this thread. Talk about < 100 Ukranians in Russia somehow eclipsing discussion about everything else on the front.

What else are they suppose to talk about? Prigozhin leaving Bakhmut essentially means even less updates from the frontlines as well.
