The War in the Ukraine

EXTREMELY HARDCORE

This is essentially what Prigozhin is sayin' in his Victory Day bombshell:

I took a tour of the firing positions and it was bad (10% of what we need)

Yesterday, we were told that if we left our positions we would be labelled traitors

If we don’t get our supplies, we will then decide who is really the traitor

The previous announcements were made because they were afraid of us, to mollify us

The front is disintegrating

One of the MoD’s divisions abandoned its positions - 2km retreat

Gazprom’s PMC and other divisions have either 50% desertion or 50% refused to come to the front

These other PMCs are useless and simply throw lives away

Surovikin is doing his best, but so far no good, no storm of Artemovsk possible

Ukraine keeps attacking Belgorod, locals are upset that the government doesn’t protect them

Ukraine will attack in the south soon, this is a real threat
Modern Russia does not deserve to celebrate Victory Day - it is a victory that belongs to the grandfathers, not the current generation

He goes down the list of the supplies that they asked for and what they actually got

They have actually had supplies cut even more since then

Someone is trying to sell out Putin and the Russian people

The MoD should be renamed the Ministry of Intrigues

The 72nd brigade ran for the hills and 500 lives were lost because of this

Gazprom’s “anal brigades” abandoned their positions too

If our side wanted to win, they’d give us 20% more than we ask for, actually

The Russian people, should things continue to go badly, ought/might storm Rublevka and kill the bureaucrats

The fish rots from the head

This hurts morale - soldiers asked to die for nothing, for stupidity and cravenness of the generals

The commands given by the generals are committing a crime against the Russian people and these people need to be punished severely

Give Wagner what was promised to us on May 7th

Wagner will stay for now in Artemovsk for now, but who knows what comes next

Instead of parading and preening on Red Square, these people ought to focus on the fight at hand
If what this man said are true then fully agreed. What's happening and the conduct of the Russian military planners are quite baffling and their dithering is an indictment of their incompetence not to mention the sacrifices of the Russian men are being thrown recklessly seemingly without any value.

The Russian conduct of the war so far is quite subpar despite what many here and elsewhere says otherwise. I hope Russia will undergo a true reevaluation of its military officers starting from the very top with Shoigu down to the very bottom officers to ensure that their war fighting capability is actually up to their own standards because what has been shown so far is quite the lemon considering the disparity of power between Ukraine and Russia.

The fact that Ukraine has account itself well despite the institutional and known deficiencies (corruption, insufficient military equipment of everything) their performance and that of their general officers, down to their non-commissioned officers appear to have fared so much better than their much vaunted, feared and experienced Russian counterparts. They actually made the Russians more corrupt and incompetent based on their very courageous performance on the battlefield.

Why in the world does Gazprom have a PMC? It's an energy company for crying out loud. Are companies establishing PMC's in Russia to snag spending for the war (aka corruption)?

The source for the claim is the Ukranian Main Directorate of Intelligence so take it with the mandatory bag of salt. That's the same agency run by the guy who said he was going to kill the last Russian on the planet.

While you do have a point, according to the user I quoted, Prigozhin himself said that. I highly doubt Prigozhin is listening to UA intelligence services about the Russian TO&E for this SMO.

I'm still skeptical as it is a cropped video where he isn't directly naming Gazprom, he just uses an adjective and its the subtitles made by that pro-Ukrainian account that claim he is refering to Gazprom without any other context whatsoever.

This other source I found got a statement from Gazprom itself saying that their purpose was for security of Gazprom owns installations around Russia which makes sense in the context of attempted sabotage by the Ukranians and dwidling resources provided by the Russian Armed Forces as they focus on the war
