The War in the Ukraine

Yeah didn't they found like a massive weapon and ammo cache in Soledar salt mines enough to arm a million man army.
TBF those are WWII lend-lease guns from the US which not many are familiar with. Retraining troops to use guns that are not in production in Russia is a pretty dumb idea. The only useful ones I think are the Maxim machine guns, and even then they aren't exactly great.
Not to mention some of them might have been sabotaged. So the risks aren't exactly worth it.

It seems it was mostly ww2 era stock but to build up a militia it could be quite a nice lot or even an army in Africa.

I don't think that Russia is lacking in the small arms department.

My personal opinion is that Prigozhin's statements should not be taken seriously because it has long been clear that Prigozhin is a great manipulator and it is never clear when he is playing theatre and when he is not.

And Putin has nowhere to hurry. As it has become clear, the main goal of the special military operation is not the conquest of as much territory as possible. Putin wants a new European security architecture. Or as said Erdogan spokesman: "This is not a war between Russia and Ukraine, but a war between Russia and the Western bloc. This is Cold War 2.0."

Ibrahim Kalyn said that during his visit to Russia, he discussed the situation in Ukraine with Putin, after which he got the impression that “this war will end not due to military successes, but due to a new security agreement between the two global blocs.” The international environment, he said, favors war, not peace: "The Great Powers want this war to continue."

I think that should be clear to anyone with an IQ above 80.

A week ago all the people on the thread, Twitter etc were hysterical that Wagner was going to leave tomorrow the 10th, only for Wagner to say a day later that they are not leaving, after receiving ammunition that they supposedly didn't have and that neither Ukraine nor US satellites detected that there were fewer explosions, just as it happened 2 or 3 times before.
Today another chapter in the same Turkish soap opera and the people again, buying the ticket to see this circus ...

I'm frankly tired of Prigozhin. It seems every other day he has something to complain about. Are his complaints valid? No way to tell, although the frequency and scale of Russian bombardments suggest otherwise. The only things he's good at is giving Western media more examples that they can use to point out the dysfunction on the Russian side. If he's going to pull out of Bakhmut, he should've done it already. Stop backing down, then making more threats. He's like Strelkov but 10 times worse. In fact, his contributions aren't that special. It's not like the Russian army couldn't also level the city.
