The War in the Ukraine

You are either in war or not. All these "don't hit me in this spot or I will you back in a similar spot" games are ridiculous and show how far Russia has fallen.

I had said this from day 1 of the war, and Russia still hasn't changed. You either go all in (sans nukes) or you stay home. There is no middle ground in a war

Anyway, lets wait for "retaliation". Watching this "war" will never stop being funny, absolute clownish decision making
And how you retaliate to that?
Its literally nothing, if you go and destroy a civilian building like the Rada its just bad press, this kind of PR stunts you can realistically speaking just go on with them if they happen. The Crimea bridge was different, but there is no room to make anything big over this in my view. Russia launched an invasion after all.

Ukraine bombs Crimea, Ukraine blows up the Kerch bridge, Ukraine attacks Belogorod, Ukraine now attempts an assassination.

And Russia hasn't retaliated?

There's only one explanation for this...Russia is not capable of retaliation without great pain on itself.

You could say Ukraine's attacks aren’t really an escalation, since Russia has invaded and captured significant amounts of territory. Also, the drone attack wasn’t an attempt at assassination.

You would be wrong to think the Russians would not escalate if the terror attacks on Russian territory continue to escalate.
Just look at what happened to Chechen leaders from the insurgency period. They are all dead. Even the one which escaped to Qatar was assassinated.

Most of it was material damage. Only five people died in the Kerch bridge bombing incident. Even so the Russians started striking the Ukrainian energy grid after the attach on Kerch bridge. So I would not say there were no consequences. The bridge was struck on October 8th, and the Russians started their cruise missile strikes on the Ukrainian energy grid on October 10th.

The Ukrainian logic in all this strikes me as being really poor. There has been an implicit agreement between both sides since last March not to attack senior officials. The war isn’t going to suddenly stop because of it and Russians failed in their original plan of regime change a long time ago. Even the former Israeli PM attests to it:
