One Idea on Ukrainian "FrankenSAM"

It's just so bad and downright mindboggling for me. Simple google search can show that Patriot works in C-band while S-300's work in X-band. That's already huge difference. Let alone the missile architecture and the datalink as TVM for Patriot and SAGG for S-300 requires datalink.

There is unfortunately not much can be done about the S-300's as the industrial base is gone. But BUK can still be salvaged with addition of NASAMS particularly if it can use Extended Range AMRAAM, this would match Buk-M3 Viking and maybe provide some limited ABM and CRAM capability if Radar allows.

Likely the Attack of the Mugin-5 once again. China needs to do something about the export of those drones.

If it was a Mugin-5, it’s very likely the drone was first purchased and shipped to another country before being reshipped to Ukraine (probably with a massive mark up). Much like how most DJIs end up in Ukrainian military hands these days.

Short of stop selling drones internationally, there is limited scope for China being able to stop this sort of re-exporting. Especially since these are civilian drones with limited to no legal restrictions on sale, use and export.

Another M777 gets taken out by Lancet.

Finnish supplied XA-180 APC gets taken out by artillery of the 1st Slavyansk Brigade of the DPR.

Four out of five Mugin 5 Pro drones that attacked Sevastopol were shot down. The one that got through hit the bunker oil tanks, unfortunately for the Russians. Fortunately the fire is now under control and there were no casualties.

Nasty results of a Wagner ambush along the 0506 road supplying the besieged Ukrainian garrison in Bakhmut. This shows using the road is in peril, Wagner troops are only in short arms range away, and Ukrainians still persistently trying to get supplies through.

Ukraine need something like david's sling system from Israel. It is the only NATO weapon that fits the role of S-300.

Israel needs to stay on Russian good side due to Syria, so it's unlikely that they will give Ukraine any help. An iron dome in major cities alone would've freeed up many of the s-300 missiles used to shoot down Russian cruise missiles.

Whats going on here, is Wagner really going to leave Bakhmut? Seems like they aren't supplied properly

Its more than that, in the same interview he's also lamenting that Wagner will soon cease to exist due to heavy casualties. How much of that is true and how much of it is psyops, is up for debate. If true, it'll mean that Wagner had possibly taken thousands to tens of thousands of casualties in the battle of Bakhmut.
