The War in the Ukraine

Yeah, I think the lessons learnt from this war will have far reaching consequences for any insurgencies in the future, as most militaries will not have the same level of resources to counter this threat and the defend/offense cost is so lopsided.
Asymmetric warfare is a bitch.
Then again, wide area jamming would be an effective technique against consumer drones because they lack the anti-jamming features of military spec drones.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that on April 20, an aerial munition fell abnormally during the flight of Su-34 aircraft over the city of Belgorod.

As a result, there was damage to residential buildings and no casualties.

Counterfire from the 10th and 40th Ukrainian brigades manage to destroy four MT-12 Rapira guns used by the Russians.

The results of a Ukrainian fortification after hit by an ATGM. ATGMs appear as useful against defensive positions as they are against tanks.

FABs, KABs and UPABs are being used to target barracks, headquarters, ammo and fuel depots, and vehicular hangers. Situations like this are becoming the norm all over the front.

Apparently some members of the SBU and Bellingcat went out of their way to try to get Russian pilots to defect to Ukraine, the operation backfired and the data provided to the Russian pilots for defection was used by Russia to strike the Kanatove airfield, killing the unit commander, injuring 17 people and destroying 2 planes and 3 helicopters. The SBU announced in their telegram channel they are prosecuting those involved in the operation

Title is misleading, you should ignore the '500' of the title as the statement is cut short of it's context. Russian MoD is claiming over 500 Ukrainian soldiers killed for the entire Donetsk front and not from the strike itself, and claims are made from body counts where there is force to force contact. While the strikes may incur an unknown number of casualties, they're not part of the '500' tally for the entire Donetsk front, including Bakhmut, Avdiivka all the way to Ugledar. As for the strike itself this appears to done with MLRS, and I'm guessing the culprit being Tornado-G, which is the modernized Grad with Glonass guidance.

Even as the Ukrainians are doing probing attacks all across all fronts, the Russians are methodically targeting brigade level headquarters, ammo and fuel depots, barracks, command and observation posts all across the fronts, with aerial bombs, drones and guided MLRS.

This appears to be a Nona, one of the most underreported but well used weapons of the war in both sides. The idea is an SPG around a 120mm mortar. The idea is that these things can shoot and scoot.
