Another massive arms package has been pledged by the US government, 90 Strykers and 59 Bradleys, making it a total of 109 Bradleys.

Also included in this wave is 350 Humvees and 53 MRAPs. That's a lot of vehicles for one package.

This is enough western equipment now to create multiple NATO equipped mechanised battalions.

How? Canadian mech infantry regiments are equipped with LAVs + Leopard 2s in the best case scenario, and that's not even spread evenly across the 3 regular force regiments. For example only 2 battalions of Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry are mechanized, with 3PPCLI only having trucks for mobility with no armor support. On top of that the 25mm autocannon on the LAVs that exist are completely overmatched when it comes to fire power. That's not the mention to complete lack of air defence, and I mean none. In an all out war Canadian Army at best could only serve as auxiliary formation of a larger army group, because it would be completely obliterated by enemy air power as soon as it set foot on the battlefield without support.

Infantry equipment is completely outdated as well. Can you imagine that Canada doesn't even operate infantry portable ATGMs? I remember my coworker was telling me how jealous he was of British army infantry kit, and that's really saying something.

I don’t know what British kit is so impressive.

Here is my anecdote.

20 years ago, the CO was addressing us troops and telling us to get ready for HIMARS…

At this time Ukraine operates more HIMARS than Canada…

Something about Osprey body armor being more comfortable and modular and Canadian infantry kit being old and worn out.

Don't forget that Canadian Army was (and probably still is) ran by Boomers who think that 4 magazines is equal to 80 rounds of ammo, and is "more than enough for a battle", hence the much-hated TacVest still being around.

Seriously, if Canadian Army gets deployed to, say... Sumy, they'd probably get chewed up real fast. They are simply not a credible threat by themselves against anyone that is not goat-farmers with AKs and SMLEs. This is not to say they are not good soldiers nor that they are cowards, it's just that the kits they have aren't really credible against a serious mechanized infantry with overwhelming fires advantage. Remember all those destroyed M777 howitzers? That's the only kind of 155 mm howitzer Canada has.

More Lancet kills.

This one confused me as it suggests the visual information from the Lancet is also used to spot the shelter which in turn was targeted by artillery.

Transcript:
TRIBUN-TIMUR.COM - The Russian ZALA Lancet took action to attack the positions of the Ukrainian troops in Kremennaya. The recording was widely circulated on Telegram on Thursday, January 20, 2023. In the description of the upload, it was stated that this was the work of the ZALA Lancet and artillery on the front line in the Kremennaya area. Earlier Russian UAV operators discovered a house where Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel had gathered. After that, ZALA and artillery worked quickly and accurately, hitting objects. Explosions at Ukrainian Troop positions are clearly visible in Russian drone footage. However, the number of victims who fell in this attack was not explained. Knowledge of the Ukrainian battlefield was not the first partner for ZALA Lancet. It has previously been combat tested during Russia's military intervention in the Syrian civil war since November 2020.

An SPG got taken down by a Lancet despite the SPG having optically disruptive camouflage meant to confuse drones.

TRIBU-TIMUR.COM - This is a thrilling video showing the seconds of the Russian "Lancet" UAV destroying the Ukrainian self-propelled gun. The footage was widely circulating on Telegram on Thursday, January 19, 2023. The Ukrainian self-propelled, which did not specify the exact type, looked neatly parked. Russian drones have previously scouted these artillery positions. In the narration of the post, self-propelled guns were mentioned, the Ukrainian artillery was equipped with some kind of "anti-lancet", but this, unfortunately, did not help. The Lancet seemed successful in bombarding the Ukrainian self-propelled guns. Ukraine still has not been able to resolve its conflict with Russia. Since the Kremlin's invasion in February 2022, Kiev has tried to survive even though it has lost a lot of its military weapons. In this case, Ukraine itself is trying to get additional weapons from other countries that are willing to help them.

Remnants of a US made FMTV along with other vehicles. The FMTV is used to deliver ammunition shells.

Not a lot of extinguisher users... it was not burning wild at all at the beginning. Maybe expecting a double tap ?
That's a mobile weather station(pretty important thing in its own right).
That small cute trailer behind the truck is hydrogen, and operators know it very well.

No one sane will go there...
