I think all the conditions are met for France to invoke Article 5 if it decides to do so. At a minimum, it will force Turkey to open up its bases for France to launch air strikes.

Only USAF use Incirlik and the base in Jordania is well placed not too far, Al Dhafra is really too far.

Other things, actualy except UK only my country/France do the job in Europe and Africa... before long time in more... !!!
Others Belgium, NL retired have help but others not very determined !!!

And these operations get a cost ... ok France and UK have in Europe the more big Armies but this does not prevent others they can help anyway within their means.

It is absurd that even now various countries/governments still would not work with the Syrian government. Obviously these countries/governments will not even call out, not to mention attack, the sponsors behind IS, which would be the ideal option. But short of that is to help the Syrian and Iraqi governments to contain IS more effectively.

It is also extremely curious why IS have not attacked Israel nor have Israel hit IS, at the same time Israel have attacked the Syrian government and its allies multiple times. Israel should be one of the most eager to keep IS contained if not defeated, and Israel should be at the top of IS' hitlist. Not to wish a terror attack on anyone but I believe an Israeli response to an IS attack would be one that gets through to IS.

Also shame on the media, governments, and individuals who continue to demonize China and deny that it also suffers from terrorism by Islamic extremist terrorists. These deniers are operating at the same level as the terrorists themselves.

Now reported that A10 and AC130 have destroyed a number of oil trucks belonging to Isis two thoughts. The first one is what took them so long to figure that oil revenue is helping Isis. The second thought there are no other aicraft at present or planned that can do this job better than the A10 instead of retiring we should be bringing more back into service and retiring the F35. And one last thought can some one please take Obama it's past time to retire him

Forbin I have heard tv commentators talking about a multinational force to be created to go after Isis this would include most all European countries and all members in nato what are your thoughts about france involking article 5 of the nato charter

Just kidding about Obama but I cant wait till the next election hope fully we get a more in touch leader who wont call the Paris attacks a {setback} quite frankly I dont know what to think that statement will go down as one of the strangest statements Ive ever heard about a terrorist attack

No need a high performance fighter as Rafale for do this " COIN " missions they have almost nothing AA defences it is not a country an Army exist yet some good attack aircrafts UAE use AT-802 exist also Tucano/Super Tucano etc... and Scorpion interesting more long range but right now don' t get a gun essential rockets also very interesting don't need also all time high performance weapons/bombs for it, these aircrafs carry about 3 t more than enough.

Each important Air Force would about 20/30 one big Sqn, USA more, small countries some and you get easy a good number for do this operations.

Its a good idea to me sorry for our fearless leaders not so smart remarks like I said I simply dont understand him at all, prayers be with you and all of your country I am afraid we will be needing over here sooner or later

Having seen some of the mobile phone footage of the attack, I think Paris and France was lucky that it was a rock band concert that was attacked.

At the time, the concert hall was mostly pitch black, with a lot of flashing lights, I think that helped to make it hard for the attackers to spot and shoot people.

Had this attack taken place in a well lit concert hall, where the terrorists could see all the concert goers clearly, I think the casualties would have been far, far higher.

I guess that is a small measure of good fortune that saved a lot of lives that night, and serves as a graphic reminded that as bad as this attack was, it could so easily have been so much worse.

Isis at best are 10,000 men?? Maybe more

That's like 0.0001% of overall muslim population out of 1.6 billion

Why would you preach to masses about something they already know

No where does it preach violance in Quran infact it says no where does it say anything against other religions especially respect those people of the book Christians and Jews

Even you are not allowed to cut down trees ones bearing fruit if you take enemy positions in war in according to real proper Islam

You are strictly forbidden to damage irrigation systems too

So Condem what ? Actions of the few ? There's nothing to talk against

If these guys decided on their own version of Islam due to circumstance or whatever we need to change that circumstance
