This official document by the CCP is directed toward Taiwan’s three outlying island counties: Penghu County, Lienchiang County (Matsu) and Kinmen County. The plan sets out to [1] construct a cohabiting sphere between Kinmen and the nearby Chinese city of Xiamen, [2] as well as between Matsu and Fuzhou. It also aims to [3] bring together Minnanese cultural areas including Taiwan’s Penghu and China’s cities of Quanzhou and Zhangzhou for further integrated development. These three steps show the CCP’s agenda in making Taiwan’s outlying islands in the Taiwan Strait more dependent on China. In doing so, Taiwan’s national defense would be weakened day by day. This is a war strategy designed to subdue one’s enemy without fighting.

Refuelers do offer a big advantage for long range exercise.
It would be great if every YY-20 can be retrofitted with a refueling probe as well, such that the YY-20s can also be refueled mid-air by other YY-20s.

This would enable longer on-station times for the YY-20s that are being positioned further out into the WestPac (and beyond the 1IC), therefore enabling the support of much longer PLAAF presence and mission duration over a greater mission area and up till around the 2IC.

Added bonus - The H-6Ns will have the ability to carry much heavier payload to strike at targets along the 2IC and (even) the 2.5IC too.

For note: All the KC-135s, KC-10s and KC-47s in service with the USAF have similar capability.

This is an inevitable result. However, the author's suggestion seems very ridiculous: what methods do they want to use for "prevention"? Do they want to carry out political cleansing of the locals like Ukrainian nationalists?

The locals are well aware of their situation. These islands are considered disposable peripheral warning points, and their only purpose is to serve as "nails" to hinder attacks. There are some long-range artillery and missiles deployed on the upper part of the island, which are used to bomb civilian areas.

I think what I'm saying is all known nonsense, and this garbage article is also about some meaningless nonsense.

However, considering that DPP is actively learning from the 'Ukrainian experience', I am very concerned that they will take some despicable measures to force the residents of these islands to 'sacrifice their lives for their country'.

Tests of Taiwan's Flyingfish kamikaze drone. The loitering munition was developed by the Taiwanese company JC Tech. The company currently produces three types of kamikaze drones, but there is almost no information about them. The estimated characteristics of the drone are: weight 2.2 kg, warhead weight 500 grams, flight range up to 10 kilometers. The drone uses artificial intelligence, GPS and camera algorithms to operate. The drone is launched using a catapult.

Here's the rebuttal from a certain Mr. Kevin of Japanese-Taiwan:
Kellvan Cheng
if that were the case... then let us go against why Mao decided not to take over Kinmen and Matsu... they act like 2 hands allowing some claim over Taiwan. If China wants to play this card, then Taiwan shoul djust cut off Kinmen and Matsu.. these residents can be chinese all they want AND they would not be of any liability. Taiwan and Penghu were Japanese colonies of which they were NEVER holistically an integral part of china...any china in history.
