Given that the PLA treat POWs as well, if not better than their own troops when it comes to food and provisions, it’s no exaggeration to say that the RoC chunky boys brigade might be most effectively used to surrender immediately. Since they will probably chomp through more PLA supplies than the rest of the RoC military could reasonably hope to interdict combined throughout the war.
