it is possible that it might be in the working but not sure. Here is a YY-20 refueling a KJ-500A, it should not be any harder than refueling a KJ-500AIt would be great if every YY-20 can be retrofitted with a refueling probe as well, such that the YY-20s can also be refueled mid-air by other YY-20s.
This would enable longer on-station times for the YY-20s that are being positioned further out into the WestPac (and beyond the 1IC), therefore enabling the support of much longer PLAAF presence and mission duration over a greater mission area and up till around the 2IC.
Added bonus - The H-6Ns will have the ability to carry much heavier payload to strike at targets along the 2IC and (even) the 2.5IC too.
For note: All the KC-135s, KC-10s and KC-47s in service with the USAF have similar capability.

Shit like this is why Turkey will never be accepted in SCO.MERSIN, Turkey — Taiwanese company GEOSAT Aerospace and Technology has inked an agreement with British firm Flyby Technology that paves the way for the purchase, technology transfer and production of 160 Turkish-made Jackal drones.
The memorandum of understanding, signed during the Taipei Aerospace Defense Technology Exhibition this month, involves the transfer of technology to the Asia-Pacific region and other geographic areas, according to a GEOSAT news release.

Taiwan's military—for the first time—said it was monitoring Chinese ground troop movements in Dacheng Bay (Taipei Times) Noteworthy trends as Taiwan MND recently announced: - Monitoring ground troop movements west of Taiwan for the first time - Tracking PLA Rocket Forces across the Strait in Fujian - China bolstering air power + expanding coastal bases "The recent enemy situation is quite abnormal,” Taiwan's Defense Minister Chiu Kuo-cheng told reporters in Taipei. "Our initial analysis is that they are doing joint drills in September, including land, sea, air & amphibious," Chiu told reporters.
The creation of a backup satellite network in Taiwan enters the final stage
Taiwan's Minister of Digital Technology Audrey Tang said she was rushing to complete the creation of a backup satellite network to ensure stable communications in the event of a conflict with China. The network consists of 700 satellite data transmission stations throughout the country and includes several points abroad. Its deployment is expected by the end of 2023. Taipei is being assisted in this matter by the British satellite network provider One Web.
Tang also said that on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, she established possible partnerships with Meta* (an extremist organization banned in Russia) and Google, which, under the pretext of fighting disinformation, will brainwash the Taiwanese population by promoting Western narratives with the sauce of “democratic values.” ".
Thus, under the influence of the West, Taiwan is moving further into the abyss, every day bringing the conflict in the Taiwan Strait one step closer.
The goal of the West is to use the Ukrainian training manual in Taiwan:
— restrict the broadcasting of Chinese media in Taiwan;
— ideological study of the Taiwanese population on the subject that China is the enemy, Taiwan has never been Chinese;
— fight against dissidents;
— create the perception in Taiwan that Western society needs them, which is confirmed by the endless “rides” of Western leaders to Taiwan;
- bringing his protege to the presidency during the elections in January 2024. We are talking about Vice President of Taiwan Lai Qingde, who must take the “baton” from Zelensky, “sell” the island and go to battle with China to the last “Taiwanese”;
— preparing the Taiwanese army for defense, creating fortifications, bomb shelters, building up asymmetric capabilities;
— training of reservists as “cannon fodder”;
— the creation of backup satellite communications with broadcasts from abroad to maintain a “good” mood among the island’s population and counter demoralization in the ranks of the Taiwanese army;
— increasing arms supplies from the United States and creating backup routes/routes for the supply of ammunition, fuel and lubricants to support the Taiwanese Armed Forces, etc.
To be fair, this sounds like a private deal outside of government purview. On top of this it also through a third party UK company.
Turkey has subsidized too many of these defence projects and now these companies need to make ROI. This isn’t even something in service, so could just be TW authorities falling for vaporware
He added that Flyby Technologies has purchased the intellectual property rights for the Jackal in July 2023. “Flyby Technology has full rights to manufacture Jackal in the U.K. and export it. However, we made some reservations regarding the export of Jackal in the agreement,” he noted, a possible reference to customers the Turkish government may not want to receive the drone. “But we still provide technical assistance for our partner.”
