You have the loud, drunk Russian side mixed with the with fanatical,

This is pointed out in the comedic episode "The Trouble with Tribbles". When a drunken Klingon starts a brawl with Enterprise crewmen.

Not in the original series. They had virtually none of the traits from TNG on. And people are forgetting that at the time of the original series China was seen as a more threatening menace than the Soviet Union. At that time one of several times the US was thinking of nuking China, it was actually put into consideration that the US and the Soviet Union join to together to nuke China and then divide the country for each other under North and South China. That was only a few years after China exploded its first nuclear bomb. People are spoiled looking at things under today's terms but back then it must have scared the hell out a lot of people that China had the bomb. Back then China was how North Korea is seen today probably x 100.

Klingons took there basis form any number of places but were primarily Russian.
The TOS was a product of the Cold War, which was not considered as much US China, It was considered US Russia. at the Time Russia was viewed as the Threat, The Chinese were considered Puppets of Moscow.
Mace your seeing Shadows man, Over the Winter I started Wearing a beard and With spring and summer coming I am looking at trimming it into a different style So when I say this I am looking at styles and Klingons wore All kinds of facial hair even in the TOS
Kor Wore a kind of Hybrid with features of a Van Dyke and a Fu man chu blended he had the Fu manchu mustache but with a little double Chin Patch

Koloth wore a mustach less Goatee that has since become known as the Klingon. the same style was sported by Worf

Kang wore a tight Goatee and mustache combo.

Klingons getting drunk says they're molded after the Russians but Klingons having Chinese names and Fu Manchu mustaches says nothing? It goes back to before the Cold War. Again like I mentioned previously... Ming the Merciless from the planet Mongo. Maybe a lot people don't know that reference from science fiction? He's has a Fu Manchu mustache too not to mention who Fu Manchu was too.

Worf had a Fu Manchu at least for the first season. In the original series I can remember Michael Asara's character Kang had a Fu Manchu and also John Colicos' Klingon character who was Baltar in the original Battlestar Galactica. Not to also mention the movie Undiscovered Country Christopher Plummer's Klingon character was named Chang. I believe also some Klingon ships had Chinese names.

Yes First Season TNG! then He adopted a different style. Chang I will give you, he's also the first Bald Klingon. However there is also Gowron and that is a Polish name In fact they have a destroyer that sports that name.

Well Chang being bald was Christopher Plummer's touch because he told the producers he wasn't going to wear one of those wigs.

I liked it. It made him look bad Arse! he also sported a Eye patch bolted into his skull and a simple mustache his character stood out.

Yea that was an especially good decision. Every time you see Christopher Plummer in an interview talking about Star Trek he always brings up how he hated the wigs.
