I actually liked Andor for showing a bit more of how life was like under the Empire. I don't know now what they plan to do with Thrawn, but I wish the Empire would actually win for once, to show it to be a credible threat. Antagonists have to be actually threatening rather than a caricatured push-over, and it's hard to take them seriously when they lose over and over.

This is what made the TIE Fighter game so compelling. Instead of a megalomaniacally evil organization, the Empire was a functioning government, dealing with internal dissent not necessarily directly related to the Rebel Alliance, pirates/smugglers, local disputes, etc.

I thought the remake was not going to be a continuation of the Ronald Moore BSG. I would've probably hated it. Moore's BSG wasn't anything of the original show except there were Cylons that wanted kill off the human race. That was the main premise but they wanted to make it a drama that was set in science fiction.

Well, the person who is in charge of running star wars since the beginning of the sequels till now is finally leaving the scene. Not sure the series will get any better but it's a start.

The main body of the franchise has been left for dead by that...creature. I don't know if Dave Filoni is ready to fix the franchise, or what's left of it at this point.

Mandalorian Seasons 1-2 were great but 3 was meh, and less said about Boba Fett show the better.

Andor season 1 really elevated the material though. But unfortunately it doesn’t have the same kind of appeal for mass audience.

Andor season 2 just got announced I think 2 days ago. I never watched the first season so no thoughts from me. The general consensus seems to hope it is as good as season 1.
