I actually liked Andor for showing a bit more of how life was like under the Empire. I don't know now what they plan to do with Thrawn, but I wish the Empire would actually win for once, to show it to be a credible threat. Antagonists have to be actually threatening rather than a caricatured push-over, and it's hard to take them seriously when they lose over and over.

This is what made the TIE Fighter game so compelling. Instead of a megalomaniacally evil organization, the Empire was a functioning government, dealing with internal dissent not necessarily directly related to the Rebel Alliance, pirates/smugglers, local disputes, etc.

I thought the remake was not going to be a continuation of the Ronald Moore BSG. I would've probably hated it. Moore's BSG wasn't anything of the original show except there were Cylons that wanted kill off the human race. That was the main premise but they wanted to make it a drama that was set in science fiction.
