This is probably a first. FBI investigating chinese swimmers lol
So ugly and desperate of them... basically par. With Jamaica challenging them at track, if the US loses swimming domination, they can forget about ever topping the medal tables again, especially if that domination goes to China. This is the hill they're willing to die on. We better be on guard; I am certain that foul play is not beneath them. We have forced the dog into a corner where it must jump a wall now.

No one should be surprised. Biden put in $500 million into the US budget to spread anti-China propaganda. This is a part of it. Just like with the US admission they lied about China’s Covid vaccine to the world so they wouldn’t take it. Now the US is taking advantage of accusations of Chinese cheating in sports. The Olympics is an international audience. Expect more propaganda.

China is horrible at propaganda. That’s why I don’t believe US accusations that China is smearing the US as affectively as they say hence why the US has to counter acting like they’re an innocent victim. I wish China would engage in effective propaganda but many Chinese want to claim instead China is “taking the high road” hence why they’re against it. Some Chinese disagree that Asians have sycophantic tendencies or want be a teacher’s pet. Who’s going to disagree that Chinese like to believe they’re taking the high road? I’ve heard it many times. What does that have common with being a sycophant and teacher’s pet? They ignore how everyone else hates them. Taking the high road is also saying everyone else is taking the low road. It’s like it’s a coveted position to be blinded by how it insults everyone else. How’s that for good relations which Chinese like to claim they’re for? So why don’t you get off your high horse and get dirty like China’s enemies do?

The West has been smearing Chinese saying they’re sneaky and plotting . They try to attribute this as a trait of communism. No that’s just an excuse covering up for their racism. They’ve been saying that about the Chinese before communism ever existed. So where did they get that racist stereotype that they use to this very day? Where in history were the Chinese sneaky or plotting against them where they were innocently wronged? Was it during their occupation of China…?

You don’t need facts for propaganda. You just have make propaganda sound plausible like how the West does it. For example I would say that the West are the biggest cheaters in competitive sports. How? The US loves to claim they’re the best in everything. That’s including sports medicine. People mistakenly believe that one test detects all performance enhancing drugs. No they have to have a test for every single one of them. That means they don’t know about a cheat until they know it exists. And who claims have the best sports medicine facilities in the world…? The US does. And who can create new cheats before and after they’ve been discovered…? The US. The authorities that are in charge of checking on cheating have been throwing away blood samples after they tested them meaning no one will ever know they cheated.

Some will argue that they don’t have a history cheating like the Russians and Chinese. Americans have a problem where PEDs are used in high school sports. There’s a problem in college sports. There’s a problem in professional sports… But somehow they’re honorable when it comes to the Olympics…?

Some will say that’s the US. Guess what? The US allows allied countries to use their sports medicine facilities. All the countries that like to accuse other countries of cheating…

That’s how you do propaganda. Everything in there sounds very plausible.

China only has one less gold medal than USA (38 to 39) in the last Olympics. The scary thing for the US in this Olympics is that for the first time, China would be directly challenging the US in one of their most productive gold medal events, swimming. If going by results from the last 2 Swimming World Championships, China has a good chance of taking 3 or 4 gold medals, directly from the hands of the Americans. 4 golds won here by China also means 4 golds less for America, this could be a massive 6 to 8 golds swing in favour of China.

The fear is real this time for the US.

The U.S. wants to take effective control of the doping agency so that it can maliciously attack anyone, especially Chinese athletes of unfair advantage when they are either dominant or becoming a threat to their favorite sport(s). Americans want to win by hook or by crook. F....ng losers.

China should expand its influence in the doping agency and many other international agencies, by paying more funding to them.

Argentina wins Copa America after chaotic delay at Miami stadium

I followed the Copa America. I would say the organization was subpar and at times downright chaotic. After the Uruguay Colombia match, a fight broke out in the stands between both countries supporters and even between Uruguay players and Colombia spectators. It was a complete mess. Security was abysmal. The famous Uruguay player, Darwin Nunez even went up to throw some punches which he said was in response to his family being attacked! He is likely to face a long ban.

And of course the final between Argentina and Colombia was delayed as your post described. I dun remember a major final disrupted like this before. I think it was delayed close to an hour before they could start the game. Really dismal operation. Imo US should never have been given permission to stage a major international tournament. The next world cup should be given to others. First off they have shown their organization level isn't up to task. Second US should really be banned from hosting international events. Bad enough that Russia can be banned but not the US for their crimes against the world. Third, I still remember the west concerted efforts to smear the Qatar World cup. They may not be saints but much better candidate to host than the US regime.

The only thing in US favour is the match events seem to be well attended. Also they keep reminding people that the 1994 world cup in US had probably the most spectators in history. This copa America was also well attended from my view. Interestingly Argentina matches also had full stadiums with plenty of their supporters. Those tickets are not cheap. I'm wondering if the Argentina economy is really as bad as they say? Then again most of them could be expats living in US. Still it's pretty impressive to gather that much supporters in times of economic troubles.

Latest news from feng huang sports journalist.

In the last 10 days since Chinese Olympic swim team arrived in Paris for their competition preparations, they have been drug tested almost 200 times! Insane amounts. Many times more than their counterparts. I hope this scrutiny does not affect their morale or mood. On the other hand it might give them more motivation to push harder.

We need to temper the expectations abit. The Anglo countries like US Aus Canada still hold a big edge especially in women's competition. The charts below kinda illustrate this dominance. It's for the current and latest world record holders. Many of them are still swimming. Not a wild statement to say they likely will perform as good or even better in this Olympics. Interestingly in the men's side, china might surprise some. Inverting the traditional Chinese female superiority over the men's in sports. I think a 1 or 2 gold swing to China favour will be good already.
