With these shapes, it's hard to guess the size of it ! With the J-36 you see that it's big but that one, no idea if it's flanker sized or fulcrum sized. When we will have a better view of the cockpit, dots will align better.

Still a bomber though.Americans said the J-36 was too big to be a fighter jet. Now there's a smaller one. I am wondering what else they have to say.
On a more serious note, its CoG is located more at the rear than normally. I wonder what this entails.
Are they caret intakes or DSI?
The image is too unclear for me, and I cannot clearly see the bump, but I there was a post saying it was a caret intake?
Do we have picture of the cockpit clearer than this? This is not a lot of pixels I'm not sure there is even a cockpit

No. The caret intakes are for the outboard two engines on the J-36. The J-XDS fully uses DSI (or some sort of DSI design) intakes.
