, you were quick to read what I was trying to say "the other possibility of joint production of J-20" related to the highlighted texts in yellow "(601) collaborating with 606 on program".

The reason I deleted my post was that this is a cooperation of institute 601 (Shenyang) with institute 606 (Chengdu) on project collaboration. If it is about joint production of J-20, it would be more appropriate to be a statement by SAC or by CAC instead of 601. Because 601 and 606 are research institutes, SAC and CAC are manufacturers. Although they are bundled in pairs as 601+SAC and 606+CAC, they would still go directly to their counterparts.
Since it is 601 and 606, and J-20 research is over, the likely collaboration on an ongoing project would be FC-31, or something with similar role (Naval jet). The "worst" scenario could be a navalized J-20 which 601 can contribute their expertise obtained from J-15 such as launch, landing hooks and tests. The "best" scenario would be a FC-31, but then I wonder what 606 can contribute. Stealthy shaping, material, avionics are the expertise of many other institutes, 606 was the integrator only. As to the basic design, J-20 and FC-31 are so different, 606 may be able to share some general experience, but not specifics.
To summarize, I don't see much information can be extracted from this report.
