Unless the Chinese are looking to engage in a High/Low mix J21 or what ever you want to call it would fit then the Larger J20 being the Hight the J21 being the low.

Well it seems the J-31 would likely make a very nice A2A bird for top-cover on the Carrier Task Force, the J-20 won't be doing that it seems, but to your point, the J-31 would make a nice Hi-Lo combo with the J-20 and that may be what its all about???? brat

Yes, I believe Dieno's pic at post #2575 is the best one so far of the landing gear up. Also posts #2485, #2489, and SinoSoldier's #2469.
Yes, I have imagres from 27.9., 30.8., 23.8. and the first with the gear up on 18.8. !
By the way another image posted by "broccoli" at the Key-Forum ... and as he hinted my image seems to be an older one since Is I have not seen these "tape-stripes" in any other picture before.
