Because of the monotone background and pretty good picture quality, and because at this angle and lighting the plane offers almost no depth perception, I at first look thought it was a ps.

That second one doesn't look like the J-31.

The second one is obviously a J-11... they might be the escort aircraft for the J-31 or a totally different and unrelated photos.

Well the first one Flankers don't have angled tailfins so they look to be different aircraft. The second looks slightly angled but that could be because of perspective.
