I took the dog on a drive this afternoon. We have THICK fog over here in Emmett...maybe 1/4 mile. But it is milk white, just like the roads and fields with the 10-11" of snow on the ground and still on all of the secondary roads.. Almost a white out condition...so be safe out there, especially at night now where the light will just reflect back at you. Hard to see where the road starts and the road-side ditch start.

Gotta be real carerful in such conditions.

We are going to have highs in the olow 20s until next week, when they drop to highs in the single digits and lows well below zero. This is shaping up to be one of the coldest winters in 20 years.

It looks to be one of the hottest Xmas in Houston history. We have had our A/C on for the past week. I was cleaning the garage earlier today. I was wearing a t-shirt and still sweating... I think it went up to 85 yesterday.

...and we have arctic air coming in mid-week next week. High is going to be around zero next Thursday and low down near 15 below.

It is really cold here in Cedar Rapids this morning. It is a balmy -5F or -21C. Well the sun is shining brightly!..Our hi temperature for today will be 6F or -14C.

Winter missed us in Iowa this year. Our normal high for February should be 34F(1C) ..However today it is 59F(15C)..our high temp today will be about 68F(20C)..

Also our normal snowfall is about 31 inches(79cm) over a Winter season. This year we have received only 11 inches(29cm).. what a difference. Most of the snow fell in December.

I don’t want to rain (or possibly snow) on your day Popeye. It is 29 C (84F) sunny and very humid today and possibly through the weekend. I'll stay indoors or by a body of water. Defiantly an “asado” (grilling) this weekend.

My leg bones hurt and my arthritis is acting up just seeing that picture…..

Over the last few days in my area (East Midlands, UK) it has been rather warm to say the least. Hot and humid with temperatures of 34'C today and 36'C a couple of days ago. Toasty...

That's rather (if not very) hot! Almost as hot as Phnom Penh. However, is there wind? Here, hot and no wind, the air makes you feel difficult to breath!
