Global warming lies! It is turning out to be the coldest spring (March/April) in Calgary of the last 30 years I can remember. We had some -20C weather in March and soon will get -15C for Easter. That is at least 20C below average. We also had a cold winter of 2 weeks of -35C days.

At least this is keeping people home, good for social distancing

Well my car was damaged severely. You can't see it in these photos but there are many. many, many hail dents in my car. The insurance person is coming out today.

O damn, hail that can break the back windshield of a car must be crazy big. Didn't you just buy that car recently too?

Yes I did. we bought that car 11 December. The hail was the size of golf balls. The insurance adjuster came here to do an assessment of the damage to the car. We are waiting for her call. By the way three other cars had broken rear windshields. And every car in the parking lot had some sort of hail damage.

Just be glad you were indoors when it happened. Damage to roof? We had to get my parent's house roof tiles changed from a big hail storm 5 years ago.

I live in an apartment building for seniors. There was no damage to the building according to the maintenance man.

Guess what? It snowed early Friday morning 3 inches or 7.6cm.The snow did not accumulate on the pavement whereas the ground is too warm. All this snow melted on Friday because the temperature reached 50F or 10c.
