According to "ipredict", the chance of Scotland to vote for the independence is quite slim ... only 22% (it keeps changing)

This is what the voting cards look like just got mine in the post and I have posted them back this morning

There is two envelopes A and B I don't know why they asked us to put one in the other, one envelope would have sufficed

I am sorry to say I do not disclose who I will vote for but I will say that whatever is the outcome will be the outcome from the Scottish people the turnout is a historic high and hardly anyone is NOT registered

Whatever is the outcome everyone will have to respect the opinions and aspirations of Scotland

Too many nations and leaders are giving opinions but at the end of the day the people will decide!! ;)

Thanks for letting us know what the voting card looks like. But where is the "Maybe" option? :p

Also check this out, already 330,000 votes by post are in and over 1 million signed that's more than 1/3 of the total voting population in Scotland

People in Scotland are proud of their heritage and history a galant people who couldn't give two monkeys about what people think of them

And if someone votes yes this does not mean they hate English and English people, I like English people and I like England but I don't like Westminster who have been robbing us for decades

BBC takes home £300 million a year from Scotland's tax payers and look how shameless they have been in the Scotland referendum

Westminster always historically scaremonger, frighten and threaten Scotland that they can't afford this and that call us poor people and that we rely on hand outs and Downing Street is our masters

Just last week it emerged how dirty and tricky Westminster is, they asked the top bosses of two supermarket chains to go to the media and say that the price of foods will go up if Scotland becomes independent, how sick to play such a foul card

The final card Westminster will play is the form a coalition with Tories, labour and lib dems even Nazis far right extremists groups like UKIP, BNP, EDL and Britain first are joining together to force us to vote no, all of them were chased away yesterday from the streets of Edinburgh and Glasgow by yes voters

Many in Scotland would rather live poor and without money but free, there is no price for that

Northern Ireland would be a very difficult one.
Part of the population would join the Irish Republic, but many of the Unionists would probably rather become part of Scotland rather than be just stuck with England.

Wales is very unlikely to go independent, its not really viable and I think everybody knows it.

The referendum for the SNP is really win win, either they get full independence now or Devolution Max, which will be a considerable increase on current powers.
Devolution was only introduced just before the millennium and the Independence vote has come in less than twenty years. Even if they "lose" this time and have to "make do" with Devolution max, it simply means that they will be back with the question before 2030.

Scotland has all the basic ingredients for going alone and it makes sense for it to do so. I also think that a lot of rubbish has been spoken by the no camp especially over the last week.

Scotland has massive energy and other raw materials potential, especially hydro power, a massive surplus of which could be sold across the border. It also has a large land mass and good communications.

Its biggest drawback to date has been archaic property laws and land ownership, which has stuck huge areas of the country in a 18th/19th Century time warp, with land owned directly by the Crown, vast areas tied up in Landed Gentry Estates, with virtually no development worthy of the name in 300 years.
A vote for Independence could sweep all this away in an instance and allow Scots access to the land the the resources/potential tied up on it.
A Scotland with vast swathes of new cheap development land, untapped natural resources, cheap power and the ability to set it own tax rates would be a power proposition and of course Westminster knows it, which is why they have done everything to stifle this aspect of the debate.

I wish Scotland a resounding Yes Vote next Thursday.

If indeed Scotland votes for independence and is able to run itself smoothly as an independent country in short order it will be a huge boost to independence movements around the world. It will be very interesting to see how the UK and other countries will react.

There was very considerable development in the 19th century when many land owners deported the people to Canada to make space for sheep. When later the sheep didn't pay they went over to shooting, deer and grouse. But you can't build a modern economy on that basis. In large parts of Scotland that will still have to be done and an independent Scottish government will have its work cut out.
