A fleet of 80 such aircraft will be built by 2024 and will be capable of transferring 400 Armata heavy missile tanks or 900 light armored vehicles to the American continent or Australia in 7-8 hours.

More big talk and nice pictures from Sputnik News.

We will see if they actually produce any of these...much less 80 of them by 2024.

And the talk of having them come to the US or Australia is pure flame bait and fan boy chest thumping.

Yeah, The Whole thing seems beyond Deus ex machina. I mean a SST by 2024.. in nine years?! but wait not only is it a SST but it's larger then any transport in existence.and According to the video its powered only by a single gas turbine with dual electric turbines, and Stealth characteristics in a blended wing body?
A blended wing body subsonic I could buy but not at that scale, not with electric not yet

Oh no ! Not again these Fan-boys !

Once again a nice design that has nothing to do with the real PAK-TA ... even if some simply want to ignore the facts. It is a design from a design competition won by a student (not really, he earned the third place + a special price)

"... A design competition seeking the cargo aircraft of the 21st century inspired many an engineer and aviation enthusiast recently, with the entrants ranging from 22 to 74 years of age. The winners have a greater future ahead of them.
...
Alexey Komarov, a graduate of Moscow’s Stroganov University of the Arts and Industry, received a special prize for his concept of a transport aircraft of the future (pictured above). The model he designed was displayed at Volga-Dnepr’s exhibition stand at the Air Transport Forum, and attracted the interest of many visitors.

They are one of my personal favorites and very fast with a double pressure hull that allows them to go "deep"! the early versions are very noisy, but they have been considerably quieted with some "borrowed" technology. A very potent weapon, and after all th kinks were worked out, I believe the Indians are rather proud of the one they rent from Russia???
