Naval Today said:
Krivak-class missile frigate “Ladny”, a part of the Russian Navy’s Black Sea Fleet, departed Sevastopol to join the Mediterranean Sea operations.

The vessel left the base today and is sailing toward the Black Sea straits.

Ladny is scheduled to join the Russian Navy’s Mediterranean Sea permanent task force, replacing the Yaroslav Mudry frigate.

This represents the vessel’s first deployment after it completed renovation and modernization works.

This is an old frigate, one of the original Krivak I class. It was launched in 1980.

It recently went through a fairly extensive refit and was modernized (not sure of the exact changes), and is now going to deploy permanently as a part of the Russian Mediterranean task force.

Yes from 1:24 to 1:50 on this new video the new Russian aircraft carrier is shown ... remarkable with its two islands, and the model has Sukhoi T-50/PAK FA models on the flight deck.

Sadly I can't speak or read Russian ... please can someone give a summary !?

It appears to be a new design. Different from the Ulyanovsk. There are Mig-29Ks as well.

Maybe @Jura can help.

well, they didn't say much ... they praised the Ship Simulator Center, claimed (around 01:00) it was unique to the point NATO Navies tested their designs there (really?) ... at the time you mentioned they presented for the very first time the models of
  • the Leader-type Destroyer (once I finish this post, I'll try to look for what it could be :) and
  • an aircraft-carrier for up to 100 aerial vehicles; with an optimized hull ("with the ship resistance reduced to 20%" -- no, I don't know what he meant :) but that's what he said; capable of flying operations during a storm (another quote); capable of using both a catapult and a ski-jump
the rest describes a nuclear facility over there

The carrier has a name at 1:32. Can you read that?
