This whole conflict just proves once more that there is no limit to human stupidity.
Before saying anything else, I must admit that I, for one, am surprised by this whole thing. What was the Georgian president thinking when he sent his regular army in and flattened half of the South Ossetian capital with artillery? And what were the Russians thinking when they sent in strategic bombers without EW and SEAD support?
But anyway, I think as more account of actual combat comes out, we'd have more opportunities to look at the tactics in this conflict.
