what part of my claims are not correct. Chechen's fighting in Georgia, Russians taking 9-12 sniper hits a day, eating the beef cows (see any Chechen's with packs or eating rations. I saw a pack of them eating a cow and stealing toilet seats.) Maybe the Russians running the roads like mad max? I am not sure what you don't think is correct.....a large battle in a city where I claimed from sources that both sides took about 200 casualtys...very reasonable number.
I am sorry I report just for you. Russia has shown to be a professional well disciplined army using land air doctrine to a T. while taking little to no KIA. They have scared the Georgian army by their mere presence. The T-72 has truly proven to be a awesome weapon of battle as those pictures of those tanks with their turrets sitting beside them are just photo shop by the WEST.....is that better.
I love the russian variety of uniforms from urban sheik , tropic green and the good ole Rambo no shirt. The balaclava black and a ten inch beard is my favorite..a beard must be required if your a Chechen uhh soldier. then throw in a little spetsnaz jail house under garments (you no the striped undies) with evergreen flower pattern outer...boy you have a impressive open minded SOP for the professional russian military....do they have a union??....have a good giggle cheers to all ute.

Does anyone have info on the Chechen units in Georgia? I read that the 42nd Chechen Division was sent into South Ossetia. I'd like to read about the Chechen units involved and their equipment.
These men are reported to be from Vostok (East) Army unit, Chechen special forces:

Guys, I have got a question. The US keep urging Russia to pull out of Gerogia. Does she mean pull out of Gerogia including the disputed districts or just to return to the pre-conflict area?
In addition, the "peace plan" presented by Rice is it the same one the French mediated before?
I am confused with all the different info from too many sources.
I think it is the same one Sarkozy brokered, now Condi is there to get both sides to formally sign it. One of the points on that cease fire agreement is that Russia is allowed to make/take "additional security measures" where it sees fit; a loophole that virtually gives Russia a freehand in Georgia, and allow them to demand a set up of buffer zones surrounding SO and Abkhazia.

am just a little puzzled as to why people in the forum are claiming the chechen forces are a force to be reckoned with... they don't look professional in the pic though.. perhaps through the years of experience fighting urban and guerilla warfare toughened them up?
any idea guys? share with me will ya
