  • Russia is set to seal up the damaged Nord Stream pipelines to Europe as there are no plans to repair them, Reuters reported.
  • It's a sign Moscow has given up on Europe as a key buyer of its gas in the face of strong Asian demand.
  • "Unless the war ends, there's no reason to start repairing them - literally anytime there might be a repetition of the entire thing."

Wow Kazakhstan has like half of the population i always though Kazakhstan to have. Thats about a million more than we have in the Netherlands with like 17.5 million. I always imagined Kazakhstan to have like at least 35 million plus population given its size.

Well the stans are nomad land and seem to follow the format of the larger the country, the less people there are in it.
It sort of makes sense that nomads can only exert control over such a huge area without splintering if there are relatively few people to exert control over.

Not Uzbekistan. Uzbeks weren’t nomads after… the 13th century I believe. there’s also quite a large Korean diaspore there, where yours truly comes from.
