I thought this only happen in Cambodia. Cattle are really stupid animals, they never avoid cars. Sometime, they just walk straight into cars. On Cambodian national road (we don't have highway), cattle are always killed by car accident and sometime that also kills the driver.

Darn it Jeff you have gone and made me homesick. Here's a promotional video of my home province where my dad farmed and on a couple of occasions I went on his cattle drive to the stockyards. That route is more less the same as we took.

and its good to see the social horse rides are still going strong.....been there done that too. Life there is much better than being in the big smoke, hanging around hamburger joints and playing computer games.

I am not sure whether the cattle are stupid, perhaps "stupid" is not really a proper word. For 100% sure they are very useful animal, imagine our life without them.

It happens in many parts of New Zealand, even just 5 km from some cities. Cattle and sheep are the most common.

I've never heard a cattle killed by car accident in NZ or if it is the case, would be very few ......
