Hilarious, since you are not living in the USA/Canada, you probably have access to more Chinese cars than 80% of SDFers

I don't have any personal experience, but Changan is a large SOE, one of China's big 4 automakers, so probably at worst the same as buying a Chevy. Is Great Wall available where you are?
No, Changan is the only brand I see although I think there's a new company starting to import BYD. Not sure I'm ready to make the switch to electric yet, though there are a lot of Teslas here. We get a lot of private imports here, especially 2nd hand from Japan, for new all the big US/GE/JP/RoK brands are represented.

Changan have become hugely popular here, especially the pickup trucks. They represent a lot of car for the money.

Doctrinal purist: Made primarily from sticky rice
