Here we see a M2 on top a M60 on the bottom and in the center is a Targeting rifle for a Antitank weapon. For those who don't know before the advent of advanced guidance systems Antitank weapons used to fire a bullet. that bullet a tracer would be bore sighted to the weapon. some systems still use this method.

Very, very nice indeed!

What a collection! What history.

WOW! Would love to make that trip.

I have an FN/FAL myself and can say nothing but good about it.
If you do be careful my friend the armory is located on a rather steep incline

and Springfield has all the problems of a major city these days. During daylight the Armory is perfectly safe. and in a nice part off town. just down the street is the Museum of art, the Museum of nautral history and the Dr. Seuss Statue garden

$0.00 for the main building. I walked in off the street. It's run by the National park service who make there money off of books DVD's and merchandising M1 Garand Pens are very popular. I was only there for about an hour I intend to go back some time in the next few months.

I do not do facebook. I do read sometimes on my wifes page and I noticed this thing 20 things about yourself..

I did not post the following but I may..someday..

20+ things about popeye..you did not know.

I love Jesus, my wife Lynett, family, my Pastors & church family with all my heart.
I was born on September 23rd 1953 in Morristown NJ
When I was born my last name was more than likely not Ha** but Hill.I can’t prove it but I know it’s true.
I was adopted by my natural dad’s brother at the age of three. He’s the man I call dad.
I grew up in Cincinnati OH.
My dad was very strict. All “fun” was under his control and very limited.
I had two step-sisters, Both are now in Heaven with Jesus.
I spent the summers of 1960,61,67,69 & 70 in New York.
I graduated from Courter Tech High School in 1971
My high school was twice as large as any HS in Cedar Rapids.. we had 3400 students. It closed down in 1974.
I joined the US Navy on August 25th 1971.
I’ve visited 40 US states including Alaska and Hawaii.
While serving with the US Navy I went around the World three times. It took me 16 years but I did do it.
I’ve visited 16 countries also the US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
I was married to my first wife for 29 years. We had five Children. Four boys one girl. One child, a boy, died in February 1984. The other four are doing very well and living in San Diego.
From November 1971 to August 2004 I attended church only once. That was in North Carolina with my adopted mom.
I retired from active duty with the US Navy after 20 years on August 31st 1991. After that I served as a non-drilling reservist for 10 years.
I drove trucks locally in San Diego for the first seven years after I retired from the US Navy.
Next I worked in a thrift store for two years.
Then I worked in the motion picture industry as an on set security guard for one year.
Next up I worked for Enterprise Rent a car as driver and what I call “special events assistant”. Great job.
In August 2004 I move to Iowa ..And here I will stay!

I did a drafting apprenticeship for a summer in Morristown NJ, I learned that I did not want to be a draftsman. Ended up an IT guy in New York City since 2000.

I was just born in Morristown. We never lived there. I may have passed through there in years past.

What to wear for Halloween? Do I go with my Chinese WWII uniform or Han Solo?

I don't do Halloween. Not since I was about 7 or 8 years old. To me..it's just dumb among other things...but if you fellows enjoy it..so be it.
