Equation, maybe you're the only guy here who has contact with him in person. Keep us updated if you have any news about him.

I called again today and no answer again. I left a voice mail, so I hope he reply back. We can only hope and pray that he's okay.:(

Jeff is back! :) A moment ago I noticed he had responded (during this night -- day in the US) to something I had posted on Naval Guns http://www.sinodefenceforum.com/wor...dg-1000-zumwalt-class-13-5546.html#post304638
Jeff, what's your status?
Thanks, Jura.

I am slowly getting back into the swing of things. some of the treatments I got down in Houston basically kicked my tail for the last couple of weeks...but things are getting better now.

Trying to catch up at work, here, at home, etc. but that's part of the joy of life!

Tomorrow I am trying to arrange to go and see the

The US Air Force Thunderbirds will be there, along with several F-15Es, the US Air Force parachute team, Wings of Blue, and several other cicvilain acrobatic aircraft teams.

Also, they will have many aircratf there on static dispaly which is one of the big reasons I want to go. These will include:

USAF B1-B Lancer
USAF B-52 Stratofortress
USAF F-35A Lightnoing II (Oh yes!)
USAF F-16 Falcon
USAF A-10 Thunderbolt
USAF MQ-1B Predator
US Navy F-18 Hornet
USAF C-17 Globemaster
USAF C-130 Hercules
USAF KC-10 Extender
USAF KC-135 Statotanker
USAF T-38 Talon
USAF T-6A Texan II

Tons and tons of eye candy there. I am really excited about it.

It runs for two days, Saturday and Sunday, though we will only be there for Saturday.

Starts at 9 AM, flight show starts at 11 AM, ends at 5 PM. Admisssion is...FREE!

Can't wait and will surely take a LOT of pictures. Probably put up a thread here on SD. Just hope I have enough energy to last through all of it So much to see...so little time to see it! LOL!

The US Army's official Rifle maker from it's opening under George Washington until the doors were locked under Lyndon B Johnson. No this is not the Springfield armory that manufactures weapons today that entity Springfield Armory, Inc was founded in 1974. the campus i visited ( it's partially on the campus of Springfield Technical collage.)
I appologize for the Quality of the shots I am not a very good photographer and i was using a low quality cell phone camera.

Here we see a sampling of there colection.

The Armory not only houses American weapons but also a selection of Foriegn arms. Here we see a WW2 era German Paratrooper FG42.

and a few odd collections. This Rifle was a Springfield made rifle that was captured by the Confederates in the Civil war. Johnny Reb in this particular case did not have a chance too get as much use as he would have liked, A bolt of lightning turned the barrel into a crazy straw. Also visible is it's bayonet and a rifle with a burst rifle barrel.
