Thank you to all...and God bless you.

We are now back in Houston for treatment of the several small spots of bone cancer I have had from the beginning.

They took the large, very dangerous tumor out 4 1/2 years ago and saved my life.

This week I will undergo five days of intensive, stereo-tactic radiation to sap those remaining areas. They hope to either stop them, or retard their growth so they will noy be an issue for the rest of my life. In the end, it is in God's hand and I accept His will in it...but will always do my best. Then we will head back to Idaho.

I hope to be able to check in here on SD during the week, but it will depend on how I take the radiation. Everyone reacts a little different and this is my first time...and hopefully my last one too. We are ready to get back home.

Swing through Central Obamastan on your way home and I will fry you up some southern fried okra,,,,, and when it cools off maybe Pinto beans and Ham hocks, lol.
Awesome, by the end of the week you should be glowing in the dark, maybe when you turn out the lights your eyes will be green like the Hulks, I think he used Gamma for that cool green glow, maybe even be kinda like night vision eyeballs. I'm sure having had a son in law on nuke boats, that stuff will just work great for you, praying you have a blessed and effective week. bro bax

Hang tight there Jeff. And if you're still in Houston and feeling better, we can meet up for dinner again with your wife Gail. This time I'm buying...no exception you hear?;)

On the way home now. As we drove, and were about 1,000 km from Houston, and another 1,700 km to go to home, I took the following video after crossing into Colorado, going over Raton Pass, and then north of Trinidad on Interstate 25:

We ended up going another 500 miles past this to Rock Springs, WY, where we are tonight.

Well, we are finally back home. And glad to be home too.

Here are a couple of more videos I took while we traveled that may be of interest on the last day of our travel:

The first is just west of Ft. Bridger, Wyoming on I-80. This is about 25 miles east of Evanston, WY, just before going over a geological formation called, "The Three Sisters," which are three very deep depressions/high swells that the Interstate Highway crosses. To the south are the Uintah Mountains, and to the west are the Wasatch mountains, which cause a lot of winds to constantly flow through here. Elevation is about 6,500 feet here. For years we have watched them building this large Wind Turbine Farm. it has gotten quite large now, with a total of maybe 200 large turbines. There is another we passewd, 300 miles earlier, on the pother side of the Continental Divide near Laramie, WY, but a large part of this one is right next to the highways.

The second, os a very interesting geological formation down below Echo Canyon in Utah, now on I-84, after it split off from I-80 to go to Ogden, UT and then on to Boise, ID. This formation was noticed by early pioneers (and I am sure by natives for a long long time) and it an upflift of strata. Two long formations, that are normally horizontal, were at some time lifted up vertically across the stream in parallell lines, maybe 1-15 feet apart. Lifting up over a good section of the hillside, and up into the air 30-50 feet. it's called, "Devil's Slide."

Glad to hear you and Gail made it back safely home.

Say have anybody ever try to slide down between the rocky crevice on Devil's Slide before, just curious?

Thank you, my friend. We enjoyed meeting you and having dinner at Luby's.

Sorry we missed you the last week. I was being put under for heavy radiation for 3 hours each of those five days, and then had to wait 2 hours to get started, and then be in recovery for 2 hours after.

Was pretty sick, and we'd go back to our room, I'd eat a very light meal (the only one each day).

Anyhow, that "slide" is probably 15-20 feet wide between the two rock uplifts. I know many people ave walked up it...but only Paul Bunyan could have "slid" down it. LoL!
